Transparent sweet water, a dessert location, a simple and good restaurant: a perfect location to spend a day!
while Lagoa Paraiso is absolutely worth visiting, i do not see any reason to pay the price of R$40 (in low season) to R$55 (in high season) per person to go to the lagoons, while you can go there by public truck for R$20 per person (both ways).sure enough, going by buggy you also see the Lazy Tree which you don't see otherwise. also by buggy you will pass by Lagoa Azul, but in my personal opinion that one is not really worth visiting - it is small, has only one establishment and besides you pay R$5 per person for the boat to cross over.
A Caribbean Sea, but with fresh water. Crystal clear waters of a deep blue. The lagoons are formed by rainwater. A magical view. You get to these points in coleticos tours departing from Jericoacoara. Alternatively you can get to the blue lagoon with a 4x4 vehicle that can be rented in Fortaleza (international airport or downtown). Fortaleza to Jericoacoara is about 3 hours. It is necessary to hire a guide in Jericoacoara, cost $ 35 per day. It's a good tip for those who prefer to have more comfort in Jericoacoara.
Both lagoas are wonderful. Lagoa Azul is more crowded. You can enjoy a drink while rocking in a hammock inside the water. The bar is a bit too touristy but if you look away from it you will feel in paradise.
Ride is very nice across the dunes . The water of the lagoas is cristal clear. However the restaurants and cabanas lack charm and dont have the authenticity of those you encounter in tatajuba....food is very average. Too much wind.
The bugue trip is wonderful, the lagoons are realy paradise, but the food at the restaurants wasn't nice.
I enjoyed the price (about 40 reais) if you can find a group of four people to share a buggy and experience the east coast of Jericoacoara. They pick you up around 9 am and get you back to town around 3 pm so you still have time to catch the sunset
The whole trip was just fantastic ... the ride along the beach, the laguna azul was very nice and the laguna paradiso just ... paradisiac! Lovely return through the sandy dunes. One advice: if you are not too tight with money, don't share the excursion with others, so that you can keep your independency and basically do what you want when you want ...
Ummm if this paradise you can keep it, maybe my idea of paradise is slightly different. We were lucky only two couples were around this lake, and they say its paradise, but I don't understand why, a few uncomfortable hammocks in a lake don't make paradise. The lake is a bit stony so not kind to the feet, the drinks and food overpriced. On the plus side a good break from the beach.
it's one of the places you have to see when in jeri.there's hammock inside the lagoon it's so relaxing.
