Ann, thanks for your great review! We're planning to put on even more events at both the Villa and The Vibrant Vine Lawn next summer. We hope to build on the success of the 28 Vibes shows we put on from June 21 through Sept 7th, and the Painting and Wine art workshops we held each Monday and Thursday from July 14th to Sept 25th under the direction of Debby Merkel.Keep an eye on our Web Page and our Facebook Page for details! See you then!Wyn & Marion
Katie, thank you for your review....and we're glad you enjoyed yourself at The Vibrant Vine! There are almost 150 wineries in the Okanagan now ( we've lost count!) and we're honoured that ours was the first one you chose to visit!visited! You have some fantastic experiences ahead of you as you explore the Wineries of the Okanagan and see for yourself why USA Today rated the Okanagan Valley as the second best wine area in the world to visit. After you've seen 50 or so we hope you'll come back to visit us again!!thanks againWyn & Marion
Kayla, thank you so much for your great review!Marion and I especially treasure reviews that mention our fellow Tasting Room Servers by name - and in such glowing terms! You have made my day......and as for Nora....she is on Cloud Nine! Thanks again!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We have indeed, doubled our space and I hope you felt we were able to retain the same look and feel of the original 1937 house in the new section! The WOOPS! story is now becoming folklore and last week our good friend Jasmine ( who is the face behind the OOPS!) visited us from Ontario to give a live demonstration of how it all came about- back in 2013!As you say, we are most definitely NOT a “taste and buy” Tasting Room. Having been to more Tasting Rooms than we can remember, Marion and I set out to create something “completely different”! I’m glad you enjoyed “The Vibrant Vine Experience”- it’s so much more than just buying some wine!
Ann, thanks for your great review. Now I just love your phrase "serious fun"....because that is EXACTLY what we try and provide at The Vibrant Vine. It's tough to take yourself too seriously in a winery tasting room, but we do spend a lot of serious time trying to come up with the "fun" side of our brand. ...3-D Glasses anyone???? ......Upside down labels on a wine called WOOPS??Serious stuff indeed!
Arthur, thank you for writing your review. Isn't Uncorked a great tour company? We have lots of fun with their clients and your tour was a really memorable one! Thanks again! Hope to see you next year.Wyn & Marion
Well on behalf of our staff and of Janelle and Buzz at Bellissimo Pizza , a very big THANK YOU!You were all a delight to be with, and Marion and I are glad you enjoyed your visit! The huge MS bike Tour crowd certainly added to the ambiance, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves on the lawn!It is on moments like this on a perfect Okanagan afternoon that Marion and I smile at each other and know that "This is why we did it!" We are so glad we extended the Vibrant Vine Tasting Room this Spring so that so many others can now enjoy these sunny afternoons on the lawn of what was for many years our home! Thanks for taking the time to write your review.Wyn & Marion
So first, let me thank you for taking the time to write your review. You obviously put much serious thought into your comments and we appreciate that.As you say,The Tasting Room is indeed beautifully decorated and cheerful and thanks for your informed comments on the quality of our wine.I think we're also in agreement that the 3-D glasses are "a gimmick that is attractive to the young", but many of us "older folks" have a bit of fun with the 3-D effect as well! You comment "this group of workers there need to take their job more seriously" - Well.... perhaps a little more seriously would be OK.....perhaps...
David, thank you for your heartwarming comments! You may know that our “Cottage Winery Shop” used to be exactly that -in that we used to live in the cottage attached to the winery before the building was expanded and became the Vibrant Vine Tasting Room. It’s still a strange experience working in the Tasting Room each afternoon standing in the middle of what was our living room with a hundred of our best friends milling about! Marion and I are glad you enjoyed yourself and hope you come back to visit us next year.
Wasn't it really special! Now this year, we have something even....well I shouldn't say too much but.....you are CERTAIN to enjoy it! Plus, we will have Phantom of the Villa back by hugely popular demand....plus we're planning a rather special event to celebrate the launching of our wine club ( which will be like no other wine club on the planet!). So lots of activities up at The Villa in the courtyard, under the stars.....And thank you for taking the time to write your truly encouraging review.
