beach clean, water clear, it is a mix of shingle and sand so I would advise investing in a pair of water pumps to save any unnecessary pain!!
Kallithea beach is amazing. But don't go there in July or August. Beach is quite small and all the tourist from surrounding are there. The crowd there is amazing. :(
The most beautiful beaches on the three fingers - white sand, crystal clear water ... in June it was not crowded at all - definitely a must-visit :)
Kallitheas beach is a steep descent from the Country Inn Hotel but can be approached off the main road and there are two ways of doing this one down a very steep incline and one down steps near the underpass. This is the one we chose and is quite the best way if you are not as able as you used to be.
Beautiful beach with crystal clear water. There are also many restaurants / taverns at the seaside for eating something good.
The beach really is perfect - golden sand, very shallow for perhaps 30m out. Quite a few beach sellers in Aug - none of them hassled you though.
The beach in Kallithea is quite narrow. It was not crowded in September so OK, but I guess it's not the same in July or August
Lovely beach but steep descent to get to it. Plenty of loungers and little bars who bring your food and drink to you on the beach. Had the misfortune to go down there last week when the heavens opened. Got absolutely drenched walking back up the hill through a torrent of water. Don't let this put you off visiting the beach.
Probably had more expectations from the beach in Kallithea but it actually disappointed me. The water had a nice colour and it was clean but there was a lot of trash on the sand, tree branches, sea weed, and so on. And it was also very narrow.
Lovely and clean, however very hard on feet with shingles, rocks etc. Beach/ swim shoes needed. Lovely clear waters and a really Nice sea breeze which keeps you cool under the baking sun.
