Loved all of the exhibits. Great movie to introduce the shuttle. Really like the launch experience. Would recommend for all ages.
Very informative attraction lots to do all day. Money well spent. Had to queue but not for long, part of a full day to the visitor centre.
Didn't realise this attraction had it's own review page. Have just reviewed it on the KSC page...anyway, suffice to say this exhibit is the highlight of an outstandingly good day out. Do yourself a couple of favours;1) Don't read any reviews on this page that give away too much detail. It'll ruin the experience for you which will be a shame, as it's been so beautifully designed and executed by it's creators2) Go, enjoy and be amazed. If you've any interest in space travel, you'll be delighted. You'll also leave with some wonderful memories and really, really cool photos! As my review title suggests, this exhibit is simply incredible. It's also unmissable!
Everything about the tour, Saturn and then Atlantis was awe inspiring. When they led us into the room to review all the shuttles and history then opened a screen to lead us through to where Atlantis was displayed a tear came to my eyes. Beautiful.
Huge and to think this has travelled to space and re-entered to earth. Wow. The Space shuttle launch ride is also very good, feels like a real launch should,
Awesome- so well presented. Very emotional when the story unfolds and the doors open- but wait, I'm spoiling it- go see for yourselves! Nothing not to like!
Make this your first stop if you're coming in the morning, as I believe it gets busy quick. We were the first ones through the exhibit. I can't say enough about how well laid out this exhibit is, from the first moment you step into the theater, you feel not only the wonder of the achievements, but also the emotion of what was done.It really captures the monumental sacrifices and innovation that went into the Space Shuttle program. And the kids will love the slides and tunnels of course!
This is not to be missed. The Bus will take you there its at the end of the Bus Tour, do'nt rush its a full experience. There is a cafe but my wife and I had our own food and drinks so we sat outside and gazed at the Launch Platform across the Lake. Make it your second thing to do as it takes in some memories of the 60/70's. The space race and that memorable John F Kennedy speech. You will also be taken into the Control room and watch as the count down starts for the launch. As you enter the main building look up to the roof !The buses run every 15 minutes do you can hop on and travel back to the center easily. There is also a gift shop for "Keeps sakes" or gifts.
This exhibit and the way it is presented can bring a tear to the eye. The lead in to the actual viewing of Atlantis is stunning and powerful. There is so much to see in the exhibit. Plan on being there for at least an hour but really you should plan on 2 hours. There is so much to see, read and participate in.
We visited this exhibition with our grand kids. As a space addict it was the best up close exhibit I have seen. If you have time for one exhibit make this one it. Take time out of your travels to carry kids and elderly parents to see it. I would highly recommend it.
