This museum was one of the best we have seen and taught us so much about the artesian basin. The items on display are good but the model of the shearers camp is brilliant. Well done.
Learnt lots about artesian water. Museum was well laid out and not cluttered and dusty like lots of country museums
It's worth a stop by this small but informative museum, however I think the $10 admission is a little steep. The artesian time tunnel is a highlight for younger ones, and has quite of bit of interesting information if you're travelling around the area.
Gave us a true education on the Artesian Basin. A great museum with lots of interesting things as well as a great photography display.
This museum and art gallery are well worth a visit , especially the informative DVD about the Great Artesian Basin.
Das Museum gibt einen sehr schönen Überblick über die Geschichte der Region. Mich haben insbesondere die Darstellungen zum artesischen Becken beeindruckt.
Heaps of souvenirs and booklets of information of the area Very clean and tidy. Situated in walking distance to the town centre
Friendly and helpful staff, the centre also doubles as the visitor information centre. The building is new and so the museum is fresh and well worth a visit, the” time machine” back to the beginning of the Great Artesian Basin is unique. Lots of local memorabilia. Unfortunately did not have time to view the art gallery, next time.
The museum has a vast range of historical items relative to the town and district. The Artesian Time Tunnel is interesting however the movie on the Artesian Basin is exceptional as it shows in practicle terms that anyone can understand how it all works. Well worth a visit on your itinerary.
the Museum and Artesian Basin display are well worth the $10 entry fee. We both learned so much about the outback and how important the Artesian Basin is to sustain life out here. The museum was well presented with many interesting items to see.Staff were friendly and very helpful
