Excellent beach with superb soft sand and ample car parking.Paradise Beach Bar is excellent with good food and decent beer. The food is hot and the beer is cold so they get bonus points for getting those the right way round (unlike our hotel but that's another story)Part of Paradise beach is known as bubble beach. To the right of the watersports hut (looking from the sea) is an area which benefits from a neighbouring island's volcanic activity and bubbles rise from the sea bed like a Jacuzzi. This fascinated both myself and my wife. we loved it.Nothing to fault here. Highly recommended.
Staying in Tingaki, in my opinion one of the best beaches in Kos. We had decided to travel to the paradise beach to give it a try. Easy to get to and plenty of parking space. the waters were calmer, but no sign of the bubbles you can swim through due to the volcano. ok as a one off, but wouldn't spend the holiday there
The beach is out of this world, you can see why it's called paradise beach, we got the local bus from kos it was about three pounds fifty to go and it was a nice run enjoyed the trip there. We arrived a the top of a hill looking down to the beach what a view, we took the steps down. The sea was so clear and warm. We used the sun beds no one came and asked for money, we had a great day there was toilets, they were ok. The bad news is you have to climb back up to get the bus back, it was a hard climb not for any one with hart problems or not fit.
Out of season you can have 2 km of beach to yourself. The water is not as cold as you might think . In summer it is very busy , but I believe it to be the best beach on the island . You can wade out about forty meters . All sand underfoot and the water is bath temperature. There are all sorts of water sports to do , and a restaurant/ cafe for refreshments. Two loungers with a table and parasol 8 euros for the whole day. If you like beaches , you will love Paradise beach
We walked here from the Zeus Hotel, it was well worth it. The beach is stunning and if you look very carefully you can see the bubbles floating up around you in the sea. There is a lovely snack bar there where the food is good and reasonably priced. There are also water activities for the more adventurous! Definitely worth a visit.
Nice Greek beach, water sports in season, not as much available in late October but still lovely sand and sunbathing great. Take water and picnic in case taverna closed.
Excellent beach with lovely sands and the van sells reasonable snacks . Easy accessible to the sea, there toilets and sun beds and umbrellas for a small price
The beach was not looked after, with rubbish all over the place. Definitely not a Paradise. No showers available either which is a negative, when you come out of the salty water. However the clear water with sandy beach was a positive.
There is a part of the sea that has small bubbles coming up from the bottom it is so weird you must see it
This whole area is wonderful,Kefalos resort is great because you can just wonder from Taverna to Taverna along the main street and along the sea front, sit and look out to sea whilst eating or drinking.Plenty of varying music at the Tavernas / bars. The beach is slightly shinglely from the little port, but then as you venture along it, changes into soft sand until come accross the small head land opposite the little island just off shore. The head land has a collection of greek ruins which you can freely walk among which is rather lovely. Then onto an aray of beaches stretching out toward Kardemena, many lovely beaches here that just about cover everything you could want a beach for.Water sports, sunbathing, splashing around with the kids and nude sunbathing further along. All in all just a beautiful part of the world.Try it and enjoy forgetting about the rat race.
