Really a lovely square to sit and relax have a coffee or a cold drink and wile away the time being waited upon. Plenty of restaurants to have a good meal, We didn't have a meal there. A musician played all afternoon so you could just sit and enjoy the sunshine and music.
A lot of people, full of restaurants. But the crowd seems to fade when you sit and enjoy your morning coffee (yummy!)Definitely MUST SEE
Lovely square to sit and have coffee and just people watch! Particularly good on a warm Sunday morning to see all the locals promenading with their families and the children playing in the safe square. Good place to sit and refresh yourself after a morning shopping.
What a wonderful town. A day trip from Bodrum (Turkey) which was great. The square is a good place to start, a coffee and a bit of people watching while you get your bearings. Great food, great shopping, just enough history and culture to feel worthy and then a sit under an umbrella with a cold beer. What a great way to spend a day on holiday!
Kos Town is awesome in my opinion, romantic and relaxing, good for evening strolls, day walks along the docks and dining at restaurants. It has pleanty of beautiful restaurants.Eleftherias Square is wide full of great restaurans, nice turkish and greek arhitecture buildings. The towns is full of shops located on narrow sreets. Also you can tell that is full of history, because of the ruins, old buildings and churches. All in all a very nice place to visit and relax.
Nice shops, and restaurants.History is near. And when you walk in Kos town, you will find yourself there .
After a day walking around the many, many ancient ruins and historical sites Kos Town has on offer (which are free to enter and fascinating) we sat for a coffee at the café with the variously coloured chairs. This is run by the local women’s association and employs women (only) who would otherwise find it hard to get a job; childcare commitments etc. Great coffee: two filter cafetierres (spelling?) with homemade biscuits and large water glasses, only €2.50 each. You can also sit and sun for as long as you want, then go and visit the indoor market, in the square, and the museum (when open). Children are safe to run free and chase the pigeons as no cars or bikes go through. A lovely place to chill out and right next to some of those ancient monuments.
Main square in the centre of town. Coffee shops and local shops surround it. Worth stopping by if you have time.
s a vivid place, but not disturbing being a great place to relax and rest after visiting the town. There are many places to have a good coffee or a snack with nice terraces.
This is an amazing square no matter which way you look your eye is caught on some beautiful buildings i sampled most of the bar restaurants in the square and wow not a bad one among them. the square itself is a great sun trap. The market is good bought many nic naks there and everyone you come in contact with staff wise are always happy and friendly. Thank you for some great memories.
