Beautiful old (even though it's the new cathedral) cathedral with magnificent architecture! Very much worth the time to stop and visit the inside and marvel at the exterior!
incredible edifice to an anachronism. Dislike Architecturally stunning, liked. Another giant investment in a building with limited uses. Perhaps the could feed the homeless in the entrance
What a view from the top of the tower, 175 steps to the top. Church itself is very nice . All in All well worth a stop
This Cathedral really makes Cuenca a special place to visit. Around it you can walk through the very well kept streets with very beautiful old houses
I attended mass here each Sunday and marveled at it's beauty and size every time. All visitors should see this immense house of worship.
Cuenca's best-known cathedral once visited by a Pope. Worth a visit just to see the main altar. Once filled with beggars, the city has moved them out. Get a photo of the famous blue domes above the structure.
The altar is amazing! Gold is everywhere and the inside of the cathedral is truly spectacular. The blue turrets provide an easy landmark to navigate around the old city from.
It's an impressive, although new, cathedral. Make sure you climb to the top of the towers. Access is by the right front door. The sign on the door is for "terraza" but you must ask someone in the small office around the corner from it inside the cathedral.
Beautiful church. It is huge and very impressive. For one dollar, can can walk up the 150 or so steps to the top and get great pictures of the city. there is a beautiful park right in front of the church.
The new cathedral is beautiful inside and out. It's a great place to escape the city rush and enjoy Cuenca's special atmosphere.
