They have a great selection of cheese and other deli items. The prices are really reasonable as well given the location right by the Dells and adjacent to a larger water park hotel. They have some really good specialty cheese here at a good price!
I stopped into what I was told "a good cheese shop" on my way home from Milwaukee to Minneapolis and the service I received was disturbing. They had a child giving out samples but he would get a noticable attitude if you asked for more than one sample. I dont want to say it was predjudice because I saw that he had the same attitude towards everyone. Then I asked an older worker if I bought the cheese could he slice it for me and he said "I dont have a slicer" without even giving me any eye contact. Maybe he didnt have a slicer, I dont know but what I do know is, they sell knives and cheese slicers and perhaps he could pointed me in that direction. First impressions are lasting impressions and I wont be back.
This is a great place to find all kinds of cheese, they even give you samples of any of the cheeses that they sell. The also sell gifts, root beers and beef sticks. Just a nice gift shop with lots of options and things you don't find just anywhere. I personally can't stop without getting some string cheese.
I always make a point of stopping at Market Square Cheese when visiting the Dells area. I love everything about this store! They have an amazing selection of various cheeses. They have pretty much any cheese you could imagine. They have always been very friendly about giving out cheese samples if you ever want to try a variety that looks interesting. Every time I have been there looking at cheese in the case, someone has always asked me if there is any cheese they can help me find. I have always gotten great customer service here! They have a lot more than cheese, too, though, so be sure to check out the entire store! They have great gift items and souvenirs, as well as candy, fudge, kids' toys, and so much more! I found a really neat Wisconsin magnet the last time I visited. I feel like I always find something cool when I am here that I would not find anywhere else! I also had a 10% off coupon, so it is always nice to save money. I would definitely recommend making a stop at Market Square Cheese! You never know what you might find!
This is a must stop every time we go to the dells!! I love their Horseradish & Chive cheese, which is very good on hamburgers. They have always been very friendly!!
You cannot get a better cheese curd or overall cheese selection than this store. It is the first stop since it's right off 12 when you get into the Dells. I always pick up cheese curds for my camping trip buddies. They have tons of cheese's (and accessories). I highly recommend the 15 yr old Cheddar, it's pricey but it's the best Cheddar you will ever have (unless they have a 20 yr old Cheddar). Other favorites include the Buffalo Wing Jack Cheese (which you can freeze) and the Buttermilk Blue Cheese (great on steaks and burgers while camping). If you want to try a cheese that your unsure of, just ask, they'll cut you a sample piece. They also have souvenir things and a huge selection of specialty sauces from wine sauces to flaming hot sauces. They carry a large selection of confections as well, the peanut butter fudge is my favorite. Do yourself a favor and stop in, you won't be disappointedI recommend this shop to everything.
Market Square has a nice variety of items for sell besides cheeses. We stopped for there cheese curds which are $4.99 for 12oz (Carr Valley sells their for $5.75lb) We also purchase jells and a few hard to find old fashion candies as gifts. They also have a 10% off your entire purchase coupon in the Wisconsin Dell map that was give out at our hotel and can also be found at some tourist attractions.
There are many kinds of cheese here and you can taste test any of them! The smoked horseradish cheese and the chocolate cheese fudge are the best I've ever tasted. We brought some home to share. It also has some meats you can buy and it's a nice gift shop as well.
This is a typical touristy store. They have knick knacks, clothing, and misc food items. Their fresh cheese section is pretty cool. They have many flavors including some oddball ones. They offer samples of any cheese you want to try. They also sell meat sticks & sausages.
We drive from Michigan to Minnesota a couple times a year to visit family & this place is always on our list of places to stop during our road trip. We always get the string cheese & cheese curds, they taste so fresh & salty that we tend to crave them in between trips. They sell alot of other types of cheese, which are intriguing to try but we never get the chance to to pick them up. I'd say its a mist stop for road-trippers & cheese lovers! ;)
