We played this beautiful, vast course in September. The conditions were perfect and we had a great time. I am a big fan of mountain courses and this one does not disappoint. There were so many unique and special holes that I kept fighting the urge to photograph my surroundings instead of play golf. It is a bit expensive in my opinion, but I feel the cost was worth it for the beauty of the course. This will be my first stop if I ever return to Colorado.
The scenery and layout at Bear Dance is spectacular. Although we played for the first time in early April so it"s hard to comment on the conditions, the summer photos look great. Lots of tees to choose from , numerous elevated tees, doglegs, etc, just stunning views. Very challenging and a professional staff from start to finish. Bear Dance is a must play and tons of fun.
Truly our favorite mountain course in Colorado! In great shape, with the perfect amount of challenges and elevation changes. Not to mention the spectacular views, and great fine dining on the weekends!
We have eaten at Bear Dance on many of their special events and for "date night". Consistently very good! Great friendly service, elegant but comfy atmosphere, and excellent food!!! The menu is varied, with evening specials that are always top notch. Great setting in the trees with great views. Look for their weekend special events and enjoy!!!
We loved this course. One of kind experience. Lots of scenic holes. No "give-up" holes, they all had character and challenge. Conditions were excellent. Beautifully challenging and fast greens. Just about our most expensive round of the golf trip. I can't wait to take another crack at it the next time we go to CO for golf.
Incredible course. After every hole I said "that's my favorite hole on the course." Well maintained, incredible views on every hold. Make sure you climb to the tips on 16 with a camera. Fair course - it forces you to make shots, and you'd better bring your big boy/girl putter. But even if you shoot 150, you'll want to go back around.
I have eaten here I handful of times and always found it very pleasant. It may not be gourmet but it's a very nice place to go with good quality food.
I am a member at Bear Dance and have been for 7 years. The course is challenging, greens are tough but you won't forget the experience. The Staff is friendly and accommodating. Bar and Grill are great and the views spectacular. I have seen bears on #8 several times and deer, coyote and elk are around most of the year.
Our daughter was married in 2013, and we chose this club for the dinner. It was roomy for over 100 guests. The food was delicious and the service was perfect. There was no cost for the facility(very different from most other places). Overall: EXCELLENT!
Bear Dance is an easy drive from Denver. It's a beautiful course with lots of wildlife. Fun to play for ALL handicaps(play the appropriate tees). If I'm ever back in the Denver area with my clubs, I will definitely play here again!
