We spend a lot of time to look for beaches in Thassos and this one is one of the best. Clear water, good sand, not the finest but is good, space between umbrellas that you can rent, bar, shower, toilet and not as much noise like on Aliki or Paradise beach. You can visit also Livadi beach and Marble beach and you should avoid Aliki beach and Paradise beach.
This is definitely the best beach in Limenaria. If you go by feet, the road might be a little difficult but once you get there you realize that it worth every step. Water is very clear, white sand. Possibility of renting a sun bed or just lay directly with the towel on the sand.
Great view, nice stones on the beacBut you have only one small path to get into the sea the easy way
Walking through the old factory down to the beach is something different than you could meet in the other places.I recommend it.
Well known by locals, little by tourists, Metalia beach is interesting and unique as it will feed your imagination as well as you desire to sunbathe. Its cave will offer protection during the hot sun of the noon and the waters are ideal for snorkeling !
Located between 2 cliffs, this is great for getting rid of the crowdness on a regular beach. You can acces it by car (from the outside of Limenaria, toward Potos - there is a second sign that will get you down there) or on foot (coming down from the "castle"). They have sun-beds (2 Euro a day), umbrella (1 Euro) and a bar with softdrinks and soft music and a shower and a decent restroom. That is the only place in Limenaria where you will find sand on the beach (even if close to the water the small rocks are kicking in again). Great for snorkeling, and free diving if you are into it, since it's surrounded by big rocks !
quiet, peafull moments! Sunbeds at 5E/ 2 pieces and unmbrella, small beach, big water, v nice for snorkelling, soft sand...excellent!
One of the most interesting beaches in Thassos, near an old disaffected factory. I took some nice pictures at sunset..
You have to go about 300 m be feet. The Industry-Ruins where not our taste for perfect beach holiday, but interessting as industrial technology heritage.
Very nice beach, with fine sand, but rocks in the water (you'll need shoes !!!) - still, the water is good for spotting fish, octopus, etc.A little bar, with a nice view.Generally, nice surroundings ...Worth a visit!
