Amazing beach, soft sand and really calm clear blue waters. Surrounded by the Greek rocks in the sea was just so tranquil and perfect. We hired a pedal boat which was reasonably priced and had an hour to explore out to sea looking in all the little caves. Me and my husband have been taken aback by this beach. Absolute paradise!
Just make your way to Skala Taverna next to the boat jetty.Sit in the taverna and soak up Lindos you will be hooked.
This really is a nice beach with gently shelving water, great for kids and adults alike. There are good restaurants at the rear of the beach where you can dine with the amazing view of the village and Acropolis.............What more could you ask ?
We weren't impressed by this busy tourist beach as it was far too crowded, very much a tourist honeypot. The bars along the beach are expensive and not great. For a quieter and much more beautiful beach, head to Pefkos on the bus!
Beautiful and cool on a hot day with good facilities and places to eat but the water wasn't all that clean. Probably due to a build up of sunscreen so we only have ourselves to blame!
The beach is a mix of fine sand and small pebbles. The water is clean and clear and safe for bathing. To say it was October there were quite a few people on the beach and in the sea. There are tavernas off the beach one was doing a roaring trade with tourists and locals offering very well priced set meals and deals on coffee and apple pie. ( sorry I do not know its name it is towards the left end of the beach facing the sea.) We had a local beer, Vap and a meal at a fish Taverna (again I cannot remember the name but it was the last taverna on the beach again towards the left.) the food was excellent and the beer cold and very palatable for a light larger. Best view of the Acropolis from the beach.
Well spent another week in Lindos in Sept 10th to 17th,Absoutly Marv.Stayed at the Mariantha this time, not great accomm, too small for two persons.Same as though the Waterside Pool at the top of the the village did me and Gaynor proud. So relaxing, good meals, good music, and great service.Sun loungers free folks.Karen doe's a great job and wee Ann from bonny Scotland. Also if you like also value for money, visit Billy's Bar and Mario's Diner in the Village.
Sandy beach, comfortable with children. Price for a sunbed and umbrella 4 euros. Easy entry into the water. Beautiful views of the Acropolis, nice photo ))
Calm waters, white sand, rocky environment, beautiful views. Rent a petalo boat or a small engine boat to explore the near by beaches and bays and small islands. Worth spending the entire day.
