The park was clean and the food was good inside the park, but the animal selection is quite small. It is also difficult to see a lot of the animals because of the built in environment, which is good for the animals. It just would have been nice to see more.
The zoo is really beautiful - the foliage is very diversed, the exhibits inventive and interesting. There is a lot of attractions for kids, including big playground placed strategically in the middle of the sightseeing route ;) The zoo park is a very nice place for an afternoon walk. The variety of animals is admirable. There were possibilities of interacting with some animals, my kids had great fun feeding the goats. The bar was unfortunately closed (we visited in September), which was quite disappointing. The souvenir shop, however, was open - and supplied with wide choice of "wildlife" mascots. One of the nicest places we visited in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region.
It's the only zoo close to where I live so I went a couple times with family or school. It shows mostly any type of animals living in planet Earth, especially animals from hot and tropical landscapes: giraffes, lions, tigers, zebras, hippopotamus, monkeys.. A great place to go with kids, they can see real animals like they see them on books or on tv.
Pretty little Zoo, very close to our resort (2 minutes by car). They had quite a number of animals and overall it is a decent Zoo.
Lovely zoo, very close to the hotel where we stayed. All you want to see in a zoo is there. Not always the cleanest, and i would not suggest eating there. Our kids had fun :-)
It is great for the kids and parents too. It is not as big as a small child couldn't walk around, and big enough to spend a half day here. Quite lots of animals can be seen.
Zoo is not very big, but it's really a lot of animals, and the park itself is very nice. Animals are exposed in a very interesting way, for example, the monkeys are on the island, also have plenty of room to run. I really recommend it.
Lots of nature and green, with lots of interesting exhibits. Nice for small children who can feed the goats and sheep in the petting zoo. We were impressed with the larger animal exhibits, tigers, lions, and rhinos. We missed an elephant, but you can't have it all! Good inclement weather activity when it is too windy/chilly for the beach, but very little protection from rain, so not suitable for rainy days.
nice animals, like the fact that it had their private space, non invasive , but small zoo for the ticket price
