Great Venue for a concert/Show...Open Festival Seating, Trees naturally frame the stage-semi amptheater effect on terraced grass field...food and beverages available...even when sold out audience is great and acoustics good...View-foothills of the Rockies hard to beat.
This is a lovely park, but doesn't feel anything like the Botanic Gardens downtown. The concerts here are very fun, and so easy to get to from C470.
No matter what time of year you visit, the variety of the gardens never stop. It is such fun to take the kids out to run the. Ron maze in fall and experience the quieter time of natur when lush and vibrancy settles down to grasses in their fall splendor and shrieking kids noisily make their way through the maze. The Christmas Lights follow and delight many kids, young and old. Even driving by on the roads nearby you get to enjoy the colorful lights, but up close, oh how beautiful
It was a lovely morning when we visits this attraction in Littleton. We toured the grounds, planted with mostly local varieties and then visited the new butterfly enclosure. A knowledgeable guide took us around. The butterflies were just warming up and starting to move from plant to plant. It is freshly planted and quite attractive. When it fills in, it will be even more beautiful. Additional varieties of butterflies are scheduled to arrive, and it really will be something. Very enjoyable.
Great display of blown glass art situated in a garden. Lots of lights so try and visit at night if you can take the cold. If it gets too cold you can go inside one of the green houses.
Set beside Chatfield State park, these gardens are both beautiful and relaxing. Hay rides, corn mazes, old farm houses and cottages, and even a petting zoo. You can rent out areas for birthdays and weddings too!
Came here to explore it during a free day admission. It took 40 minutes to got here and didn't understand what the point of this area is. There is not anything close to a botanic garden. Next time we'll try the Botanic Garden in Denver at York St.
if one enjoys critters, especially birds, then you will enjoy your outing at DBC at Chatfield.geese galore, ducks aplenty, coyotes here and there, perhaps a deer or fox too.room for the kids to roam too.
Checked this little gem out whilst in downtown Denver. Very beautiful, well organized gardens, with a lot of character! Especially enjoyed the oriental garden section.
It was a cold night, but that wasn't about to stop the fun. It was so beautiful. They had a fire pit set up and they were also selling hot cocoa and candy. They also have a warming hut, which is also, where the kids can do a craft. We also took a hayride. Lots of fun!
