Love their wines. Nice selection - something for everyone. Reasonably priced. Enjoy visiting!!
Disappointed the lady pouring today didn't really drink wine, but selection was ok. Seemed to have mainly sweeter wines. Also had a chocolate cream sherry worth trying. Stop by if you're in the area.
I was at niagara landing winery with a group for valentines day. They had a contest to win wine. I entered the contest and won. They called and told me it would be mailed to me. Easter just passed and I still hadn't received anything. So I decided to call. I made a few calls and left message's with no response. Finally I spoke to the owners girlfriend. Very NASTY lady. She was extremely rude. She told me if I wanted the wine come and get it.. I asked to speak to the owner. She first said he would not talk to me. Then when I questioned why he would not talkbto a customer she got him. As she handed the phone to him she made several rude comments to him about me loud enough that I could hear. I let him know that I did not appreciate the way I was treated. He told me he did not have time for my sh** and slammed the phone down on me. I would not recommend niagara landing to anyone. The rest of the winery's on the tour were excellent just don't waste your time or money on niagara landing.
This was our first trip to a winery on the Niagara Wine Trail. It was a good introduction, as it was one of the better wineries we went to that day. We are used to Finger Lakes wineries, and these ones are not as relaxed and do not have as nice of an atmosphere. However, this winery did offer a nice selection of wines to suit all our tastes, and we found them to be flavorful. I would not recommend paying the extra for the ice wine, as I dumped most of mine due to a lack of flavor.
On our visits to Niagra Falls we like to hit the wineries of the Nigra Wine Trail. There are at least ten in the general area of Lock Port. This is our second favorite. They have a lot of sweeter wines which is what we like but even those who like the wines on the dry side always find something they like. They don't get the crowds some of the Finger Lake Wineries get so it makes for an enjoyable trip. Check the website. If there is an organized event there may be a fee but not always.
The ice wine was the best I've tasted in my life, and my wife loved the chocolate dreams wine that is like drinking liquid tootsie rolls.staff makes you feel welcome the moment you walk into this small but modern winery tons os fun and great information will follow...One of the nicest wineries...
On our wine crawl through the finger lakes and to Niagara Falls Niagara Landing Wine Cellars was one of the best. We bought a case of Traminette for a table wine. It was a well balanced wine which would go with most anything. The service was good and we enjoyed conversation with some other guest. As general rule we found it wise to stay clear of wineries that have a tour bus in front. Generally speaking service diminishes in direct proportion to the number of people. To sum up, they had great wine and great service!
I have gone to this winery, among many of the others on the Niagara Wine Trail and I love their selection of sweet wines. Try mixing the Chocolate wine with Raspberry Rosebud or the Peach Rosebud with Raspberry. You get 6 tastings for about $3, and there are also wine slushies for sale (I am assuming that the slushies are seasonal). I recommend visiting this winery if you are on the Niagara Wine Trail, it is one of my favorites.
Small, very clean and appears modern. Groupon brought me in, good local variety, a little pricey on some.
l have been to Niagara Landing several times and always had an enjoyable experence here. I do enjoy sweeter wines and this place always pleases. I recently went with a group from my office and everyone enjoyed Niagara Landing. Staff is friendly and there are lots of shirts and wine related items to buy.
