Nice campus. Exellent host and facilites for the Small Sat Conference. Close to downtown Logan, hotels, and restaurants. Also close to Bear Lake and Logan Canyon for hiking.
this is easy to find, welcomed by students to take a tour. i wish the book shop had shirts that said LOGAN.
We didn't spend a lot of time on campus, but what we saw was great. It is a great little school and a very pretty campus. The stadium is nice. You should definitely have the Ice Cream if you are on campus. If you are in Logan, the Ice Cream is reason enough to go visit campus.
Didnt have time to revist the Uni but our visit there in 2009 was great. Student and teachers/staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely buildings and grounds to walk around. Great shopping at the book store.
I must admit, I did not have high expectations of Utah State prior to our visit. I thought it was a rather rural- agricultural based school with little flair and culture. We took a guided tour of the campus and was very impressed. There are several beautiful and historic buildings. We were warmly welcomed by students and facility. Many of the amenities of the school were top notch and the programs were much more progressive that originally expected. Fun interesting and free tour. Would highly recommend.
We had a chance to see the USU production of Tarzan. The production was very nice. Good performances and a very interesting set. The theater facility itself was unusual, but lent itself nicely to this production. We just happened to be in town visiting family so this was a good opportunity. Local residents should be grateful to have such a robust program nearby.
I love the campus of Utah State. It is a beautiful campus with a great balance of buildings both new and historical. There is also adequate open space that you don't feel cramped. Recently there have been many changes to the campus so it is fun to see what is new. Be careful not to get lost.
This is my 5th year returning to Logan for the Small Sat conference. USU and Space Dynamics Lab put on a great show. The topics are always enlightening & yummy food. Nice hospitality in a beautiful setting. Just wish there were more hotels in Logan. Booked the SpringHIll Stes well in advance of the show to make it work for our team. We will be back next year too!
It is a pretty campus. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Take the time to drive around the campus or even take a tour.
Seeing the changes on campus, as well as the "old stand-by's" was a great fall get-away. The University Inn was much more delightful than the dorms of our student days. I toured my major department in it's new location and we went to a basketball game. As we cheered to see the Aggies trounce the Trojans we wondered if the arena was this loud when we were in school.
