6 of us went for a London Knights game, it was awesome other than the fact that it was sold out so we were standing and the standing area is over crowded but overall it was very cool
My friend and I went to see the Dixie Chicks at the Bud Gardens on November 10th. in 2013. In this review, the actual year is not available now because I forgot to post this, but I want people to know that the Bud Gardens is an excellent venue in London Ontario. The seats we had were just a little too far away and for the next concert, we will probably get closer to the stage. My friend has hearing issues but even though we are both seniors, it was fun to get out to hear this band and we truly enjoyed it. Natalie has such a powerful voice that we had no problem hearing her songs. We did not know that she had her long hair cut off so it was a bit of a shock at first, but we quickly got used to it. All in all, it was a great night out to see a favourite group perform and the Bud Gardens is very popular, worth returning to again & again.
Wonderful concert venue, very accomadating. You cant really end up with a bad seat based on how it is set up, so even if your budget doesnt allow those front row seats you will still be able to enjoy yourself 110%. I would never pay the price they try to charge for beer but thats just me and its about the only downfall of this venue.
Great place to watch the hockey game. 1st time there for a hockey game. Would go back again. Venue was a lot of fun
we have been to Bud Gardens many times, we've always had a positive experience. There is not a bad seat in the place
Enjoy going. No bad seat in the house. I work with Girl Guides and always get a friendly call and or email on any venues the girls might like. Have been to many concerts. Enjoyed them all.
Bud Gardens is a great place to see a hockey game. There is not a bad seat in the house! The London Knights are a fun team even when they don't win! Concerts on the other hand, I prefer to go elsewhere. Ushers are very quick to tell you to sit down (if you have seats) regardless if multiple people in your section are standing. More than once the sound hasn't been adjusted properly so performances are distorted. The bookings have gone a bit downhill since the venue opened catering mostly to reunion yours or country. All the concessions are cash only so hit the bank before you come unless you want to pay the service charge on one of two ATMs. The poutine here is amazing though, SO good for an arena. The bottomless popcorn is the way to go if you want something to snack on! Also, the tall boys of beer get you more bang for your buck (instead of a $9.50 cup from the kegs).
Awesome venue for all kinds of events, music, sports, entertainment a big plus.must try if in town. Go to ticket office and ask whats on.
The many times we've been to Bud Gardens, we've always had a positive experience - there's not a bad seat in the place & staff are great - always ready to help. Doesn't matter if you're there for a hockey game, or a concert - try it, you'll love it.
The Budweiser gardens Is a relatively new facility , which is well designed to view hockey games . It gets excellent fan support , and fortunately has consistently good teams . Because of its proximity between two large cities , it gets more than its fair share of good entertainment , mostly mid week . The only downer to the facility is you can only get 2 beers at one time .
