I came here with my daughter (17), niece (10) and dog and it was a lovely day out. Obviously there are not a huge amount of animals but there is enough and it's free! It's also a lovely walk with plenty of twists and turns and beautiful gardens. Also a big park which if lots of fun for kids and adults lol
Great family day out FOR FREE!! Little petting farm, nice play park, plenty of picnic benches, football pitch for kicking ball, lovely gardens and lots of really cool sculptures and wood carvings!! Well worth a visit!!
Take my niece and nephews here all he time as the animals there are brilliant craic and they love them all. In the summer the place is packed as there's a lot more out door and can feed them too.As a venue that FREE, what more could you want??
went here for the first time in february this year, came all the way from portrush by train and walked 2.5 miles to get here,it was well worth it,so nice to see animals well looked after, just a great place, can't say anymore than that.
This great little find is free which is an extra bonus as it is excellent and gets better every time I go. The animals are great and looked after well my children are as interested as my father...which proves this place suits all ages. Its a lovely wee walk around. The park is excellent too with activities which suit all ages too, it is safe and relaxed. I also love the sculptures throughout the park they are an added bonus to a great wee spot which is in a great location. I love this park and recommend it to anyone.
Tannaghmore gardens/farm,is just a few minutes drive from the M1 motorway ,turn of at Lurgan,,and just of the Derrymacash road, its a great wee spot to bring your children or grand children, it has small farm area, and its a big hit with the locals, both young and old alike, the staff dont mind your kids feeding the animals,as long as you supervise, whats being given, and isnt anything that would be harmful to the creature, there is a large play area, with seating and a area for picnics, and toilets are near by,and landscaped, walks so you can also enjoy a stroll at you leisure, plus snacks, and ice cream, tea and coffee, can be obtained, from a van, close to the farm area car park, also entry and parking are free...
Tannaghmore Farm and Gardens is a great place to bring the kids for a FREE day out. The kids love to feed the animals in the farm and the gardens have lots of fun activities to keep them occupied. It is a pity that some do not appreciate what is on offer. The farm is not overly big, but what do you want for free? Charge a fiver in like other farms and I am sure they will soon be able to get those rare breeds other posters are after!
Mini farm with different types of animals. A must for children especially when you do not have to pay entrance fee. Children can bring food and feed some of the animals. Toilets and hand washing facilities available and are spotless. After feeding animals one can go to the gardens and can have very pleasant walk with play area for the children. Plenty to do and see. Mini maze which children can have fun in.
We had a great time - just been there for the first time and no doubt we'll go there again as we didn't get to see and experience all. I have been to "paying" farms for children and they have a lot to live up to when it comes to this free place! Well done Craigavon!
Place was clean & tidy but half the enclosures were empty and most of the enclosures did not have the animals stated on the signs. Also the 'rare' breeds were that rare I couldn't see any. Very disappointed after travelling down from Belfast. I will stick to Streamvale in Dundonald from now on.
