What a great place to meet & eat! Great food, great service, extra tasty coffee!!Staff are fantastic. The only reason I am not rating 5 stars is that the menu is a little limited, although what is on the menu is excellent. Well done owners of Botero for having vision !!
We had breakfast at Botero and the staff were very nice and the food was beautiful. Coffee was great- had to order another one before we left.
Great coffee, lovely atmosphere and in general a very relaxing cafe.We travelled to this cafe in Maclean whilst holidaying in Yamba based on a recommendation from a worker in Coles at Yamba (thank you kind lady!).The coffee was wonderful and well worth the journey but the very slow service and somewhat aloof attitude of our waitress was a bit of a let down.We recovered quickly though as it's just such a nice place and it probably just wasn't her day.Definitely worth stopping for.
This is a great little coffee/cafe in Maclean. Food is fabulous, coffee is excellent, ambience is welcoming, staff go above & beyond. Give yourself a treat & try it, you WILL be back!! ☕️☕️☕️
Was recommended to us as the best place for a coffee in mclean and we were not disappointed. Lovely looking cafe great service and wonderful coffee.
Recently stopped to check out the coffee here and was very happy with the taste and price. I recommend it for a place to stop for coffee & bit to eat.
Chose an outside table for 2 which was lovely in the breeze. Had Steak Sandwich with Chips. Chips were amazing! The steak sandwich was tasty but wafer thin steak!! They must have shaved it!Lovely sourdough on wooden platter. A little difficult when using utensils as no room to cut and difficulty keeping it on board...just get slightly bigger boards. Always the best coffee!Highly enjoyable though!
My partner and I came here for breakfast the other day while visiting friends in MacLean. I have to say it's one of the nicest coffee/breakfast places we've been to. The coffee is beautiful and the meals are excellent and the staff have obviously been well trained, congrats to the owner ( I think his name is Danny) for an excellent job.Not far off the highway, and well worth stopping in.
We recently dined at Botero Cafe on our family holiday. We have not visited since their upgrade & I have to say it is well worth the visit. I was recommended the smashed peas & avocado on sourdough & it was divine. My husbands & kids meals were of the same standard & the coffee is always superb.Well done Botero we will be back - 10/10 !!
Dining out in the Northern Rivers can be a very hit and miss affair. Well, it aint Melbourne is it? Consequently finding a cafe that delivers what they promise, serves a modern complex coffee, has friendly, attentive but not intrusive staff, and can handle custom orders with ease is indeed a rare treat. This cafe delivers on all fronts. Today i requested crispy bacon and soft centre eggs with crispy whites and it was perfect. And that's rare. Really rare. Great modern decor but not in a kitschy way and thank god they haven't caved in to...yawn...hipster wank chic. It's rare i'd drive a hundred kilometers for brunch and coffee. I would and do for this cafe...
