great buffet! Went there for east brunch and very impressed with service and quality
I went to go use the driving range and was told no one could hit off of the grass. The grass was cut short for a driving range; but they didn't want divits on the range.Unless im missing something, that is kind of the point of a driving range. Divits are to be expected. The grass is not being used for anything else, so why would it matter?
I've played this course many times and have been on 2 leagues here in the past, and had previously really enjoyed this place, but not anymore. We had a tee time for 1:50 but couldn't get out on the course until 2:20 because of a lack of carts from an outing. EVERY hole we played was backed up for at least 15 minutes, This is unacceptable, but from what I've heard, very common here. Also, the general condition of the course is disappointing, the tee boxes on the par 3's were in rough shape, as were many of the greens, and the cart paths are not maintained. This place is not cheap to play, you might as well go down the street to Bello Woods for this type of course, and its cheaper too.
As seniors on weekdays you cannot get a nicer well maintained course for the fee. Very well maintained course carts, club house. Bar staff friendly with bags of ice on hot days for purchased drinks . Food good and reasonably priced
Our family has had several Weddings here. Everything was done very well.
Played this course for the first time and found it well laid out, challenging and well kept. This is a must play!
Came out for a banquet event and 18 holes with my friends and we loved this course. The greens are tight but forgiving. The holes are well kept. The staff was great. Also the banquet event was top notch! The food tasted like a 5-Star restaurant and the director was making sure everyone had a good time. When I am back over on the east side of the mitten I am coming back for sure.
This course has a great landscape and older feel. The full grown trees and undulations make for a great spot.
Compared to other local courses, within 3 miles, the greens and fairways are well manicured, and a good challenge for any intermediate players. This course has 27 holes. The South being the most challenging, having tight fairways through the woods. I recommend playing the West and South courses, they will definetly give the golfer the best challenge. The greens are splendid, well maintained and deceivingly fast. Nice pro shop too.
Bent grass fairways in a woodsy setting with some challenging holes.
