Wonderful place worthwhile to spend 2-3 hours - beautiful flowers all around - relaxing atmosphere and absolutely quiet
January is not the best of months for a park visit but we enjoyed our visit to the well kept area with plenty of sculptures and statues .
Came over from Copenhagen on the train and found this park, it's well worth a visit.Beautiful, tranquil, clean, and the Ducks were following people every where. There is a lovely windmill and a statue of Pegasus and the colours of the trees all blend together to make it spectacular.
We walk through Kungsparken often; especially now that we have a baby. It is a beautiful park on the edge of the central city area within Malmo. There is a canal running through the park, plus ponds with ducks and various birds. This park also has a lovely little coffee shop within a small garden. Well worth a visit, to enjoy sitting outside when the weather is warmer and dry.
The Kings park in Malmo is the oldest and largest of the parks near the old city and perfect for a stroll anytime, even in the winter, as long as there is a bit of sunshine ...it has a large variety of vegetation, easily accessible walks, places to stop and relax, an old windmill and is the location of the old Malmo castle and museums nearby, as well as a daily fresh fish market in the summer months...in the summer you can also paddle along the canal ( rent a boat ) or join a sightseeing tour from the station across the Central train station...a great place for anyone, alone, couples and families...
This is a beautiful park and it was October when I was here so it must be absolutely superb in the summer. Lovely peaceful walks, loads of wildlife, beautiful trees, sculptures etc.
Amazing Park, i live right around the corner and have seen it in all 4 seasons, always amazing. In summer The whole park is covered with people enjoying the sun on blankets and towels, kids running around playing at the several playgrounds located in and around the park. In Spring the park will come alive with flowers of all different colors and baby duckling swimming in the pons, In fall its a leafy playground for kids and pets. In winter when it snows it's a winter wonderland! The park is home to rabbits, hedgehogs, ducks, geese ens. Early Spring and summer you can watch the Rabbits and Hedgehogs looking for food in the mornings and evenings. They disappear for a nap during the day and you can watch the ducklings grow from spring till end of summer when the are big and fat. The bird in the park are always hungry, Feed one and you will have ducks, geese, seagulls and ravens following you all over the park. This really is a nice park for a relaxing Stroll! The park is divided into 3 sections Kungsparken, Slottsparken and Slottsträdgården. You can Find Malmö Castle and Cosmopol Casino In the park.
这是马尔默最适合休闲的地方,而且非常靠近中央火车站。每次来这里,我都喜欢准备点儿零食然后找个树荫下的草坪看书。当然,院内的雕塑也不错。
I understand it was February when I visited but I still had slightly higher hopes for this park. It wasn't bad but it also lacked any defining features. I decided to walk through it on the way to the park along Oresund. I felt my time may have been better spent elsewhere.
If you are looking for a serene, relaxing and quiet stroll in a park, this is the place to be in Malmo. It is a grave site and it is well maintained. There is a little grotto and a modern sculpture. It's also accessible to the casino. If you have time, stroll north west and you'll reach a castle, which is worth checking out.
