The City Hall is located in the middle of the Main Square in Malmo surrounded by equally impressive buildings and a statue of Garl Gustav .Make sure you take photos of the top portion of the City Hall where intricate statues are carved into the crevices of the tower.
if you are in Malmo around Christmas, you must go to the Christmas dinner that is served in City Hall...it was phenomenal. What a great way to sample soooo many different traditional Swedish dishes. I was in foodie heaven.
impressive architecture....near to Stortorget, also worth a look when you are in this area. You should take your time viewing to the details on the building.
Looks very nice and well kept building. But what does one do inside? Not much display about it's details ,architectural or otherwise. Kind of an empty structure.
The city hall is located on the main square in the old city of Malmö and simply is impossible to be overlooked. It's within walking distance of the Central Station, less than 5 minutes. I don't know if the building is open for tourists but if you like (European) architecture then just the outside should already be enough. Nice building for picture taking, study the architecture but nothing more than that.
The building has a nice location and the history of the city and it's a good place to take fewPhotographs of the historic Building but the best is around the city the good boutiques shopsAnd the restaurants near the place ,for me the building has added the charm and the characterOf the City.
This is a beautiful buidling, almost 500 years old, located in a pretty square in central Malmo, surrounded by great shopping options.
This building is beautiful and the area is just a great place to sit and see the city and take it all in. Stop and see the stores and everything surrounding it.
I came here from Copenhage through the bridge, and this just a few minutes walk from the Malmo station. The city hall was very beautiful building and matched to the statue of man on the horse. It had the atmosphere I imagined from the name of 'Sweden'.
Amazing building built in 1546 located in a lovely square. Definitely worth seeing, as it is one of the top Malmö's landmark.
