We went with friends to see the Fishercats play. I'm not much for the sport, but still had a great time. It is well lit (at night) and very clean, and easy to get Around. Seating is ample. Waited a long time for friends to get their drinks from bar, but everything else was positive. A fun event! Great time for friends/families. Close to Hilton Garden Inn (where there are probably some great views of the field). Not too noisy or buggy. All views appear to be good given the size and location of the field.
This is a great venue. The "baby bear" of baseball stadiums, not too big and not too small, but just right.Concessions are reasonably priced as are tickets.
The home team wasn't playing, but by staying at Hilton Garden Inn, we were able to sit patio side and be right on the overlook for the ball field.
A great place for family, friends, or a date night. Cheap ticket prices! The facility is clean and well-kept. Lots of food options. Hard to have a bad seat, whether you're at the hotel overlooking from the outfield or in the stands. Actual seats instead of stands which was great too. And the fireworks...worth the price by itself!
If you want an affordable way to see professional baseball up close and in a clean stadium that is family friendly. This is it. All seats are good, there is no bad ones. My leading tip is parking, on street parking is limited so if you do not get there early, pay to park (usually $10) in a close lot for an easy walk and easy way out.
The lil lady and I go to at least one Fisher Cats' baseball game a month. We go to the season opener and the 4th of July games every year. We have never had anything less than a blast. For $12.00 you can sit right behind home plate. The games are top notch, occasionally you'll even see a major league player. As their AA affiliate, its not uncommon to see a Blue Jay on the field or sitting behind you. Being in New England, we've seen Big Papi as well as other World Series Red Sox. The games are always geared towards fans and families. We have tons of fun every time!! The Sam Adam's Grill is a good restaurant in its own right and a great way to kill some time before the first pitch. It is also the best place to grab your drinks. Their fireworks shows at the end of select games throughout the season are always great. Their 4th of July spectacular rivals the fireworks show I've seen over the Brooklyn Bridge. Every year the games are voted the best entertainment value in NH and they always strive to be better. You simply can't go wrong. Insert corny cliche baseball analogy here.
We make a point of visiting minor league parks around the country, so we came here when we knew we'd be visiting Manchester. A fun little park with the ambiance expected of minor league ball. I was a little disappointed that the fans all had to figure out their own method of drying the seats after each bout of pouring rain. But, that's my only complaint.
I give their marketing team 2 thumbs up! Beautiful ballpark with lots of fun & activities happening. The prices were low, this includes admission, food and souvenirs. Would definitely recommend a fishercats game to anybody.
Our family which includes to youngish boys had a great time at this ballpark. We felt very comfortable letting the boys wonder back and forth from the kids fun zone to our seats. Team played well and they were fun to watch. Players interacted with kids a little before the game which was great and exciting for the boys. I'm sure we'll be back!
My family loves to take yearly trips to see the NH Fishercats play. This year we decided to get to the stadium a little early and eat at the Samuel Adams bar and grill that is right at the stadium. I wish we hadn't. The service was extremely slow. The drink cups were small and the waitress never came back to ask if we wanted more. We actually had to ask for refills and the bill at the same time! A manager type person brought our food and my daughter had ordered onion rings but was given fries. When I asked the manager he said my son must have received her onion rings and for them to switch plates. I pointed out that my son had also asked for onion rings and not fries. The manager then looked put off and said he would just bring us more onion rings. He made us feel like we had messed up. Then when he brought the onion ings out he just put them down and walked away. Luckily our food other than that was ok because no one checked on us again. The waitress came and started taking our plates off the table which was great except she also took my daughters plate and my daughter was still eating! I had to ask her for it back. We love the Fishercats and we will definitely be back but next time we'll just eat at one of the other vendors.
