Went to cinema(BCC) complex, clean and comfortable but expensive.Good range of grocery and variety shopping. Good food hall.Easy parking.
This centre is awesome!!! Lots of activities for the kids and family fun!! It had every shop we needed!! The family restaurants were great that were there
The Sunshine Plaza is a great shopping hub. It has all the big name shops you need a Myer, Kmart, Target, Woolworths, Coles along with many chemists and fashion stores. There is a good food hall, cinemas and the river it sits on has a few fun actives you can indulge in.I have always found the Plaza easy to navigate and get a park.
I'm a local, but when friends or family from outside the coast visit, we always take a trip to the "plaza." A great range of shops for the girls and plenty of food options as well. Including the food court and the "riverwalk" alfresco dining. Cinemas, pubs and clubs are all within the complex combining for a well rounded shopping experience.
Have been to the shopping centre a few times now and it has all the shops you need. This time we had visitors from interstate so went pacifically to go on the paddle boats around the shopping centre, which is something different and good fun, that are visitors had not seen before. We really enjoyed it as well as feeding the ducks with the small container of bread that you also get. Had a nice lunch, there is plenty of choice when it comes to having something to eat.
Great choice of shops with a wide variety of products. Unfortunately there was no butcher anywhere in the Plaza.
A huge shopping centre! Easy car parking and so many shops! Even paddle boat hire! Great variety of shops. Lovely along the river!
Parking was a challenge and this is one very spread-out shopping complex. That said it still had the important stores on holidays, like Target for those items you forgot to pack or realized you would need for the kids like floaties. Lots of other stores including Myer, Woolworths and all the usual for families, youth or upmarket.
Arrive early if you would like an under-cover parking otherwise there is sufficient outdoor car parking (if you avoid the Christmas rush). The shopping centre has a variety of shops ranging from the large Department stores, the chain stores down to boutique shops. Heaps of eateries lace the centre and once again a variety of food. Some are alfresco and located by the river which runs between the centre whilst others are indoors. If you want a break from shopping, visit the cinema and while away a few hours watching a movie in one of their 8 cinemas. You could spend all day here regardless of age.
If you are into shopping as a hobby, then Sunshine Plaza, Maroochydore is the best place to go on the Sunshine Coast. Once you get over the hassle of parking - it can be very busy there - you can then see a most unique shopping centre built on the river itself. I have never seen anything like it before! It is worth viewing for that fact alone! Other than that, it has the largest collection of shops, both chain stores and small shops, that you will find anywhere on the SC. When you have shopped till you dropped, then go to the Food Court and have your choice of victuals. It is a pleasant experience and well worth a bit of a drive to get there.
