Fantastic golf course with the back 9 holes being even more challenging. Good service nice clubhouse, must go!
I do not play golf, but visiting the resort I noticed that this was really one of the most interesting playing areas, compRing to some I have seen in other countries
A unique natural environment metamorphosed by the Costa Navarino people to a magnificent golf course , and thus saved from the catastrophic mania of modern greek constructors. The views are breathtaking, the staff are helpful and the club house facilities of a very high standard. Expensive but worth it.
One of the best Golf in Europe with very good instructors. For biginers is very good to play for fun and for experts it is very good to have a 18 hole game.
We played both Dunes and Bay courses and still cannot decide which is better: Bay is arguably more scenic, with stunning sea views from many holes and a natural woodland feel, while Dunes offers possibly a more interesting round of golf--as well as lovely views. Both courses in tip-top condition, varied, challenging and lots of fun to play. Dunes was breezier and therefore probably somewhat cooler in hot weather. Both courses were not busy during this off-peak time of year, so highly recommended for the heat-tolerant golfer--the roving drinks cart with iced towels is a treat!Green fees per se are reasonable, but add-ons like club rental and cart-hire push the price into exclusive range. If playing more often, definitely worthwhile to bring one's own clubs--although the brand new Taylor-made rental sets are a dream to play with.Concur with all comments re quality of food and service in the clubhouse and Flame restaurant--will definitely be back for a repeat experience!
Great course, not easy, in a very good condition. Great clubhouse and staff. Good service. Flame restaurant is also good place for a dinner.
Played it the seccond time in two year.Just stunnigly beautiful. But as to be expected - prices (green fees, bugies, rental) are starting to explode. And a lot of waiting on the roundsGo there as long as it rests affordable
Played there 8 times this summer. Golf is great, wide enough for average players and with great views of either the sea or countryside from every hole. Nice staff at the club house. Only minus is the price (95 euros plus 30 for the almost mandatory buggy in hot August)
If you are a golfer and visiting Greece in the Messinian Region near the Ionian Sea, be sure to play both the Dunes and Bay courses at Costa Navarino. Both world class courses with breathtaking views and challenging shots on every hole. I have played many courses throughout the world, but have found few to compare with the beauty of these two.Gus PClearwater Beach, FL
Loved this place. Challenging course in a lush and beautiful setting. Really helpful staff. Discount for Starwood members. Lots of hungry mosquitoes, as it's so well-watered. Very expensive bar. Honestly, VERY expensive. Would return (prepared for bar bill).
