If you didn't know that Guido Gardens was there, and if it weren't marked by signs, you would miss it! It is FREE. It is a beautiful garden with a chapel in the center. Around every bend there are more beautiful things to take in. It is treat not only for your eyes, but for your spirit. An absolute must see, especially if you love Jesus Christ, or, if you are a seeker, feeling empty, seeking some peace. Meet Jesus here.
I love walking through the garden and enjoying the peace and serenity. I always stop to pray in the glass chapel. going to see the Christmas lights is always a highlight of the season. they have put a lot of effort into making an interesting Museum. a must see if you come to metter.
We visit here often in the Spring for the flowers and especially in December. The lights are AWESOME! The display is amazing and it is all donation only. A great museum in honor of Michael Guido is located on the grounds as well as a mini church and so many other things that are a must see!
the most inspiring garden and walking path i've ever seen!
Beautiful gardens and chapel used by Dr Guido for taping his wonderful tv mini messages. A serene place to slow down your busy life and contemplate the real meaning of life. He was a tv evangelist who lived what he preached. I consider myself blessed to have talked aind prayed with him. "Everything is better in Metter" including this divine garden
I'm a local and make frequent trips to the Gardens. The history of the Guido family is just as fascinating as the scenery. A trip through the museum is a must to get the most out of your trip. And make sure to say hello to the lovely ladies in the office - they work hard to keep the ministry running strong.
The Garden is located in Metter.Ga in the city limits it is beautiful. The paths go past koi fish ponds ;a glass Chapel , beautiful flowers,a replica carpenter shop.the empty tomb. At Christmas there are millons of lights and displays with entertainment. There is no cost to stroll thru the gardens it is well worth a stop when you're going down I-16 at exit 194, When you visit stop in town at the stores there's something for everyone.Yhe Garden is home to the Seeds from the Sower Michael Guido Studios known world wide.
Love to go at Christmas to see the lights, but spring is also nice, with blooming flowers & not real crowded. Gazebos & other nice, quiet place to sit. The chapel is quaint for small gatherings. Go see this place if u are ever in Metter
My husband and I spent a very nice hour just walking around the gardens, sitting and enjoying the absolute peace there one afternoon as a break in a trip from Savannah.
A beautiful garden with a prayer chapel on the grounds. At Christmas beautifully & tastefully decorated with many lights & holy scenes. Definitely a wonderful stop for everyone.
