Great views and relaxing drive. Great way to recharge your batteries. There are many interesting shops and sights to enjoy.
Great little hikes with beautiful views and wildlife. Saw 30+ deer and 10+ turkeys. Trails for hikes range from 0.5 miles up to 3-4 miles. The visitor center has some informational tidbits about wildlife, plants, and the history.
We loved visiting the lovely natural Cascade Springs and riding the Razor along he Wasatch back! It was a magnificent view and fun ride-just enough adventure!
The mountain course is some of the best 18 I've ever played. The views if the valley are also amazing. I'd recommend this over homestead and soldiers hollow any day. Lake course is also great but not as good as the mountain course.
Beautiful drive, but kind of disconcerting that there were people target shooting with guns all along the trail.
My husband & I played 9 holes on the Lake Course which was beautiful and mildly challenging with all the trees. $25 each with golf cart was a reasonable price for this nicely kept course at a state park.
I was surprised about the beautiful Swiss village here! They were setting up for Swiss Days in Midway.
I always love Wasatch State Park. There is always something to see no matter the time of year. The camp grounds are good in the summer, and lots of places to snowshoe in the winter.
We spent a few hours driving through the mountains on the gravel byways of this rustic State Park. Be sure to spend some time at the Cascades and then follow the Alpine Scenic Loop Byway. Classic scenery awaits the intrepid traveller. Lots of trails for hikers are all through this area.
The golf course and fishing looked excellent and fun. We paid to go into the day use area which was still brown and not very inviting.
