We went to see a Thursday night early release and had a blast. Concession stand was reasonably priced for a theater - large bucket of popcorn goes for $4.50 and they had commemorative buckets for $6. Can't beat $8 per adult and $4 per child these days. Bring the bug spray, though.
reminds me of great days gone by. when I was a kid, a big treat was to pile up into the car or truck and head to the drive in, its sad to know that so many people now will never have that experience. mo reminds me of the old drive ins, exept you no longer have to use the wired speaker that you had to hang onto your window. now the sound is pumped through your cars sound system. go to the mo and have that exper, before its gone too.
Love the BIG MO! It is so much fun for everyone. I've come before we we've brought my nephew and other family members. I've come on dates before and of course I've come for a girl's night. Nice set-up. Reasonable price. We usually head into Ridge Springs to eat at Juniper's before we head into the movies!
Even in a bright night the image was perfect! The sound was great....it's just turn on the radio at the proper station and listen perfectly to the movie!Bathrooms very clean!Friendly environment!Nice people everywhere!Just watch out to no turn the lights of your car on while the movie in on the screen... It can mess up with the image.
Nice place to watch movies in your car just like your parents did back in the day. You get to see two for price of one great deal.
Lot's of fun experiencing movies the way our parents did! My wif and I drive over to Monetta several times a year for the experience.
We always have a blast and it seems less like a theater with strangers and more like a bunch of friends coming together to watch a movie outside. Consessions are reasonably priced, screens are clear. Playground is in good shape for the kids to play on and of course it is always fun to people watch . You will find trucks with couches in the back set up and people sitting outside. It reminds me of when I was a child going to the starlight with my family . Now I get to take my boys out to have the same fun.
I always loved going to the drive in when I was little. Things have changed a little since then, but I think I love it now as much as I loved it back then. It is also an incredible deal! A double feature for $8? AND they are current movies? Fantastic!!! Concessions were also less expensive than the theater. I will absolutely be back.
First off, you get two movies for the price of one! I saw some people picnicking before the show started, and I think I'll do that when I go again. I do recommend bringing big spray, I was eaten by mosquitoes :(
This is one of the few historic drive in theaters left across the nation that was accorded modern upgrades to the equipment ensuring its continuity. Come early. There is always Aline up to get in.
