food was very nice but expensive...why stop breakfasts at noonBurgers were excellent and ambience very pleasant too
Came in Bistro to pick up a few goodies to bring home to tea. First waitperson was a bit frumpy when i asked for scones and they were out of them and she got involved with something else. Second wait person was pleasant enough. Goodies were a bit high priced and said to be made that day, but the chocolate swirl cake was a bit dry. The walnut one was nicer, more moist. May give them another try as they are so close by, and eat in.
I like this theatre you feel as though you are part of the stage ,small and fairly intimate with great views and really good accoustics
Small with lots of atmosphere. Good seating and very good acoustics. Parking is on-site and well lit at nights.
I recently came to see Jack and the Bean Stalk here with my 4 year old boy. The service was brilliant from the minute I walked in the door right up until I walked out again! I'm very local and have been coming here for years, I would recommend this place to anyone.
Friendly staff and good facilities make this a destination of choice. Food very acceptable, and access arrangements pretty satisfactory too.
The Brunton Theatre is situated in the centre of Musselburgh High Street and has its own Restaurant. They offer snacks and light meals all day and in the evening when a show is on which is most of the year. They do lovely scones, served with butter and jam with tea, coffee etc. Prices are reasonable and the Restaurant is very popular.
Went here to see a 'Roy Orbison-Traveling Willberry's tribute act. Seating was very comfortable with plenty of leg room and good high difference between rows so people in front didn't block your view in what is a relatively small theatre. It was set up with no stage with those on the front row on the same level as the act and this worked very well giving a very intimate experience. Great experience that we would not hesitate to repeat
I love this theatre- have been quite a few times. I went to see a panto here and other shows such as 'hello dolly' and it was hillarious. Fantastic!! Super entertainment!!
This is a small theatre which runs very varied programmes for the whole community with shows for kids right through to some pretty esoteric plays. With an in house eatery and an excellent bar significantly cheaper than its big city theatre rivals, it is well worth the bit of extra travelling to get to, especially as it has ample free parking! The staff are cheerful and friendly and it is easy to book on line.
