Though we couldn't reach on time for sunrise but still we enjoyed nicely at this beach. There were not enough people around and that's what I loved the most :D we had a long walk along the shore to enjoy the beauty and calmness of the beach. The trees surrounding the beach adds to the beauty and leave you with extreme tranquility.
this place is soooo beutiful, peaceful,it has the healing touches !! got there late in the evening just around sunset, completely bowled by its tranquility. the sunrise point is near this place.so anytime is great for this place i guess, sunrise and sunset ....a must see place for all the andaman tourists !!!
Very few people visit this beach. It's good place to witness sunrise is what we heard. However, we were here during afternoon. The curvy nature of the beach makes it a little different from other beaches and very good to click pics. Go here only if you have time else spend more time at Bharatpur or Laxmanpur beaches of Neil.
Laxmanpur Beach is sunset point and this is the Sunrise point. It is better to go early to reach this place. The sunrise is wonderful from here and quieter too.
A very peaceful beach. But make sure you reach this place early morning to watch the sunrise. We had a beautiful morning at this beach :)
The beach though is famous for its natural rock formation, has much more to offer. Not much of a batching beach, owing to the number of corals, the natural rock formation is interesting to look at though I did not find it as awesome as I was made to expect. For those that are a little more adventurous, there actually is another rock formation at the far end of the bridge, where there's a natural arch as well as a cave! The view from there is spectacular since the sea actually funnels in there to make awe-inspiring waves! However, what really fascinated me at this beach was the numerous tide pools that form during low-tide! The variety of marine life that you can see in these tide pools is fantastic - but you will have to have atleast a good 3-4 hours. The fishes hide underneath rocks when they hear you approaching, but if you sit down by one of these pools and wait 5-7 minutes, a whole new world of underwater delights will open up for you - and it is more than worth the wait! Splendidly colored fishes playing around, starfishes wedged underneath rocks, exquisitely colored clams sticking out of rocks, iridescent worms, some fresh living corals, tiny sea-urchins hiding away from sight are common sightings. I even saw a squid swim away!We were so taken by this place that we actually went back the next day to see if we could spot some more of these exquisite creatures.
third beach in neil island. just go there, take one two snap. very small beach. and lonely also. looks like no one like to come here.
The most beautiful sunrise beach I've seen. deep woods, soft sand, blue waters and raised cliffs - all packed together, fascinating. You cn watch the scenic beauty. Its great to watch the tides constructing and hitting the rocks. You can spent your whole day here :).This beach is not good for swimming or water activities. Reason is first: the waves are very hard and fast. NExt is, the surface is rocky and uneaven. One can fall down easily and hurt himself.
Sitapur beach has a Lovely curve. Kind of a semi Circle. It is beautiful beach with hardly any visitors.Wanted to watch the sunrise here but couldn't as it was very cloudy the morning we visited it.
This is an attraction for lots of tourists who want to see the sunrise. It's close (everything is close on Neil), you can have a quiet sit and watch the sunrise (some even meditate).
