Par 4 golf.... not bad but can be too crowded. Not a bad place if you are learning.
We have only been here to hit balls at the batting cages, which are conveniently indoors for a nice rainy day activity. Yes there is paint chipping off of the walls and holes in the ceiling are patched poorly, but the pitching machines still work so it doesn't matter to me what the place looks like.
Ceiling looks like its going to fall down in some spots. We went July or August and I was amazed at the amount of spiders and Mosquitos. Bugs everywhere. The staff was ok but the place needs a lot of work. I rather drive to xbos even if it is farther and expensive. Sad we wish this place worked we need a place close to home for family fun.
I was looking for a local chip and putt to take my 11 year old stepson whom I am just introducing to golf. Many of the chip and putts in my area have closed over the years. (The land consumed by development). I found Vince's on the web and have to admit I was a little reluctant after reading some old reviews. We ended up having a great time! It was the PERFECT place to intro someone to golf or tune up your short game. The conditions were good and certainly more than acceptable for chip and putt. The rest of the facility could use some attention but if you are looking for a decent chip and putt, Vince's will very adequately fit the bill. We will definitely be taking the half hour drive again.
We have taken two sets of grand kids here to play put-put golf. They all had fun, but some repairs could be done to upgrade the facility. One grand son wanted to do some softball hitting, but he was too short to do the job HE wanted to do.
When my children were little this was the place to host a birthday party. The par-3 course was a fun diversion. Now it looks and feels tired and is just going through the motions. It is sad because there is a real need and market for Vince's. A fresh coat of paint, some light bulbs, and modern games would be nice; as would the some basic lawn care and bug spray on the par 3 course. Also the old vacant? house needs to be removed or renovated.
If you are going for the arcade, STOP, this is not the place to go. But as far as the sports go, the batting cages are great but can be crowed on the weekends so reserve a cage. They too have golf and miniature golfing.
Run down and not well lit. We went in the early afternoon and as it started getting dark it was very difficult to play mini golf.
The arcade is slightly out of date and smallish. The snack bar is basic. The Mini golf is inexpensive and fun. It could use a little refurbishment but it is not too shabby and for the prices, not bad at all. This is an affordable place to take the family for an afternoon of fun.
Not as fancy or new as some other places but it does have a batting cage (we never used it but may try now that the kids are older). Has a small mini-golf course out front that doesn't get much use. Still a reasonable place for some entertainment or a birthday party.
