Very pretty area.. would love to own a home here. Lots to do on the water, nice places to eat, relaxing times at the waters edge. Bring a lunch and enjoy!!
Pretty lake, but there are only two sites that the public can enjoy the lake - the City Beach (crowded) and Bender Beach - not as crowded usually, but very small.
beautiful lake, but they need more room to park your boat trailer and more launch ramps. But there are a chain of additional lakes in the area- also has a sanded beach
We love this lake. It is a big plus for the city and a fun place to visit.
LacLaBelle is a beautiful, shallow, weed-free lake with swimming beaches and launches for fishing, waterskiing or just boating. Spinnaker's restaurant is accessible by boat.
La Belle is a very nice lake to hang out on for the day if you trailer your boat. There's a large shallow area you can anchor and get out and swim/float around. Bathrooms and snack bar at the public launch. The parking lot can be a bit of a hassle but if everybody plays nice, it's not too bad.
It is a quiet and peaceful lake, not as frantic as many others in Lake Country. Gracious homes make touring around the lake fun for sightseeing.
The lake itself is awesome! The water is pretty clear with minimal weeds. Fishing is excellent on this lake as well. As a 25+ year resident of Oconomowoc I know this lake very well and its one of the cleanest in the area. Also helps to know where the shallow / sandbar spots are in the lake to protect your boat!!!Overall an excellent lake for all water sports and fishing!
Lac La Belle has two great beaches; one is bigger and can get a bit crowded on a hot day, and the other one is much smaller on another side of the lake (it's kind of hidden). For something to do with the kids outside of going to a park, this is a great family activity.
Lac La Belle is a shallow lake, but clean. Absolutely beautiful. I loved the morning sunrises over the lake and taking my boat out early in the morning with my coffee to enjoy the peace and stillness.
