Nice escape from city. Love the bluffs. Very beautiful view of water and Toronto city on the horizon. Don't miss it worth the stop.
Great for families, small beach, big playground for kids, snack bar, trails for biking and walking along the Oshawa creek, beautiful views, peir, bbq huts available for reservation. Soccer and baseball fields, however the east side is the harbour, a bit of an eyesore industrial area and there are plans to build a bio fuel plant nearby which will probably be an end to this park. Really the park needs expansion a lot more than it needs a fuel plant.
Enjoyed the beautiful park - on Lake Ontario - fun place for young families - in the warmer weather there is a beach - washroom facilities and snack bar - lots of parking!
A very beautiful park.It is a great place to relax, walk, get some fresh air,and sunshine. The sandy beach, gulls and the great view of Lake Ontario make this a great place to visit.. The palm trees are definitely a very nice touch.
Great multi use park, took dog for walk, through I wish they clearly marked that beach was no dogs allowed. There was no sign and did not know until told through a bullhorn. But there is a smaller little beach on the other side that allows dogs to go down to the water. would love to see a better food service area maybe where you could get a beer and relax. but I am sure i will be going back soon.
Great Park with plenty of walking areas. Have a picnic, or watch the sunset. Well maintained. Baseball and soccer fields and public washrooms are available.
This public park is located on the north shore of lake Ontario,Great for picnics, kids, swimming, has food stands, you can also BBQ, walk the trails,EnjoyPeter E. Mercado, C.E.T.
I like to go there and take a coffee with me and just sit in my car and watch the water and sometimes read a book.Nice beach and very relaxing.
Lovely park in Oshawa by Lake Ontario where we spend time walking our dog. Great place for picnicking with your family or sunning on the beach. We enjoy the special events held there too, like Canada Day, Ribfest, fireworks, etc. Have a nice snack bar there too in the warmer months where you can get a grilled burger, hotdog, fries, sausage on a bun and ice cream among other things. Have a great playground for the kiddies too and a splash area. I wouldn't swim there myself but I do see other people swim there in the summer. Love to see the swans there in the Springtime. Nice place to take photos. Parking is an issue when they have special events though. You have to park a long way away so not good for people with disabilities or walking issues. It would be nice to see it built up/enhanced a bit with some shops or other attractions to entice people to use it more.
There cleaning the park up and its becoming more of a falily place to enjoy and cool off on those hot summer nights. Great walking area and relaxation with scenic views of Lake Ontario
