This is a great time for kids, but there is very little for adults to do. The facility is very clean, and the staff is great!
The only time we were there, it was just way too cold for little kids. And adults alike. Seems like the bigger kids had fun but several families were there with little one and we all talked about how cold the water and air temperature were. Will not go back there and I live only minutes away.
My 2 boys loved playing here on a rainy summer afternoon. We have also loved visiting on a cold winter day. No safety concerns with school-aged children who can swim. We have never encountered long lines. There is an area for young children as well. Water temp is good. Pizza available to purchase is well-liked by my children. Prices are less expensive than a more urban area and very reasonable.
They always had more than enough tubes available. Always several very attentive lifeguards watching. Nice customer service people. LOVE LOVE LOVE the "monster-themed" paintings on the walls!
Hesitated to go back because last visit it was quite cool and the water was cold.surprise, very nice and warm with welcoming staff members. (Im sure this is thanks to Benny.good job) thoroughly enjoyed the visit, food, temperature and friendly attentive workers.
My 3 kids, ages 4-10, love coming to this place. Great for little ones as well as older kids and adults. Love that adults can sit and watch---no fee charged if they aren't swimming. Have deals days with special deals which is also good.
My kids had a great time here! Not very big but will satisfy any bored kid on a rainy day! We will defiantly be back! Also I read that it's dirty? It didn't seem dirty to me so I don't know what that was about! Also a good place for parties!
Recently our 4-H Club spent the day at Chaos Indoor Water park. Its been renovated recently. The rides and pools are nice and clean, the food prices reasonable, and the group options were perfect for our group. We utilized the group package, which included a room off of the pool, pizza and sodas. The kids of all ages had fun and we adults didn't have to worry about the kids safety. I highly recommend this attraction for groups like ours!
I went there yesterday and going in to the locker room, the toilets were never flushed and the floors were so dirty. As you walk into the pool area you can hardly breath and start getting dizzy because it is so highly chlorinated. They let you wear your dirty shoes from off the street in there and there is dirt all over where you are walking barefoot. As I was going down the lazy river I seen band-aids going past me, kids poop, and huge chunks of hair. If you look on the bottom of the lazy river you will see all sorts of things from clothes to poop. As I was going up the stairs to the water slides I seen trash and blood on the stairs. Also, there is only one life guard watching three water slides to where they could hardly see the bottom. They one body slide had hardly any water pressure so the people had to push themselves down the hole way. I feel like this place does not clean daily and I know they would not pass if state came through and looked. I feel like the people working there are too young and do not care about how clean this place should be. I will most definiteness not be going back there ever. I really feel like there is a need for OSHA to step in and take care of this nasty place.
There's ample room for kids to enjoy a day spent indoors at this park. Small toddlers and babies have areas where they can splash or sit on some concrete animals/slides. There is good supervision by the staff - although they seem not to be able to keep up with clean towels. I thought the place could use some touch-ups in peeling paint, but that must be an incredible undertaking. It can be VERY crowded with the tables so close together. People have to walk in single file along the edges as it's just bursting with swim bags, chairs, tables and people. I thought why couldn't they have just left more room for tables?? Our grandchildren really enjoyed the lazy river and the pools - - the slides are not for the faint of heart. Make sure you choose the right one - the young staff who supervise those huge slides do not explain that one of those slides is an exterior - it's pitch black and you hurtle through it at 90 miles/hour - it seems endless - and it is VERY scary for children. The other one is indoors and less frightening. They need to make sure they give you some choice!! There is a changing bathroom/locker room but only a couple showers.
