We have been island hopping for three weeks now and this is our favourite bar out of those we have come across. The interior is cool and the bar has a chilled out vibe. The music was also great, everything from Amy Winehouse to funk. The service and attention to detail were second to none, both the host and the lady behind the bar made sure we had everything we needed. The cocktail list was not overly long, I like this it means they've mastered those on offer. The old classics, such as the mojitos were well done and I loved the chilli margarita! Visit Pirate Bar, you won't regret it!
Great atmosphere, cozy and fun. there's usually musicians and the bartender is super nice and friendly. Went there a couple of times during the say, really captures the islands mood, totally recommended.
The world should be glad of tradition when it comes to places like this, the bar apparently was built in 1597 and has kept its flavor with marble columns and it marshmallow style/type building, today it's occupied by more bohemian types, writers, artists, teachers and everyday folk who all enjoy the hosiptality of the staff ( or should I say the very entertaining staff ). Every nationality seems to find there way to the bar, it just adds to the experience.
Really atmospheric bar in the centre of the old town. These guys know how to make an enjoyable experience. All the Beach bars do something similar so this place really stands out from the rest if the places. Good music and great for people watching!
This bar is really great in the agora to stop after shopping and celebrate. You can sit outside in the little lane way or inside in one of the little coves. They have live music. The sangria is really nice and they have games - jenga in the alleyway with the cats and music was so much fun!
Our favorite gathering place during our week on Paros. So friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be a place we frequent when we return to Paros in June.
The word 'cocktail' is tossed around all over Greece as well as 'unique view' and 'best greek salad'. If you live in a city and you like to eat and drink there is a big difference between someone who can make you a drink and a true, passionate and service focused bartender. Andreas Zafeiropoulos made us amazing drinks, talked with us about the local spirits and obviously enjoyed being behind the bar. I am in the spirits/liquor business and this was one of our favorite bars in our two weeks in Greece. It felt like a true neighborhood bar with great music and an awesome REAL cocktail menu.
I felt so welcome by all there. Great atmosphere. Great drinks. Great music and great service! Seriously recommend any time of the day
Very nice environment....relaxed and peacful...!Enjoyed very much.Snacks are very tasty! Many thanks!!!!!Don't miss it chaps...!
It was early December and very very cold outside. Inside the bar, the fire was roaring and we discovered we had stumbled upon some kind of culinary evening. We got there around 9 and most people were still eating plates of French inspired beef stew served with baked potatoes. Other people had chocolate cake. My friend and I know the bar well and asked what was going on?? It's 6 euro with a glass of wine a nice American lady told us. So we ate, and drank many more glasses of wine after that. Apparently the foodie night is every two weeks during the winter. I will be back for the next one in January.
