My husband was looking to replace his wool comforter, and though they don't make comforters there, he found a beautiful woolen blanket that he likes. Prices are what you would expect from hand-crafted quality products, so no complaints there. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Stopped to look for fabric remnants but selection was very limited. Not sure if they are discontinuing that department, but have had much better selection on previous visits.
We were looking forward to visiting the mill store and we were So disappointed. The prices were higher then what we expected for a "mill store". The staff? Was there a staff? No one ever approached us or spoke to us. Pretty things, well made but I would go somewhere else.
Prices and quality of merchandise in their outlet store was not nearly as good as the outlet stores in other locations. Looked like an old warehouse built around the turn of the century....staff not that friendly....after a brief look around had no interest in their 25 min tour.
Enjoyed seeing the process and final products. Was hoping there would be more. More of the dying process.
Tour was interesting and the on site store was nice for shopping opportunities. I was a little surprised the tour was so short, about 30 minutes, but the guide was quite knowledgeable and covered his topic and answered all questions that were asked. The store does have sales at times, for the economically minded.
Just touring this place is a great experience - the beautiful Native inspired patterns on clothing, home items, blankets and pillows are gorgeous to look at, although few bargains are available here.
Nothing special. Love Pendleton's 100 year qualitybut very expensive and match with few decors. Last tour at 3 pm.
It has been a few years since I visited the Pendleton Woolen Mills store, but always enjoy a trip to see what they have in stock. Have given blankets as gifts over the years. When I was a kid we used to visit the Woolen Mills and tour it, was always fun.
It's to be lamented that Pendleton now manufactures everything outside of thr U.S., but the shop here is well stocked with Pendleton woolens at good prices. It's worth stopping in.
