If you are driving by, this is a must stop for an individual or family. There is a huge supply of candy including fantastic taffy and assorted chocolates. They even have all of those antique candies that you cannot find in other places.
Even though our children are grown....we still have to stop and pick them up something from here on the way to visit. They love the candy and so do the grandkids. If you enjoy saltwater taffy, you can sometimes watch it being made and purchase as many flavors as you like. They also have candy that you might have purchased in your own childhood. Make fresh fudge.. the list goes on. Clean bathrooms. Clean store. Friendly service. Much to choose from .. Also, gas station and if you like souvenirs ...you could find something here probably. Many Rt. 66 t shirt and more..
If you haven't stop.... do, you won't be disappointed. Most people would think, taffy is tough. It isn't. You gotta try the Maple and Bacon.... it's to die for... they even have sugar free taffy and fudge.
I found Redmons Candy Factory to be very nice. All merchandise is displayed well, priced clearly and organized. It was a neat little find for an "unplanned stop" off Interstate 44.
Stopped because my wife wanted to get Bacon candy for our grandson. No such thing. Everything is price by the half pound. Doesn't sound bad if you don't realize that it is for a half pound, not a pound. Hundreds of different kinds and flavors of candy. Overpriced in my opinion.
I love this place my personal favorite is the cinnamon roll taffy but everything else that I tried was absolutely delish
What a fun stop! Lots of unique candies, fudge, novelties, gifts, etc. A bit expensive, but well worth a quick stop!
Interesting flavors of fudge. We got salted caramel and carrot cake. They also had red velvet, which I haven't seen before. Good chocolates and old fashioned candies available, as well as a good variety of beverages. Nice store!
This is a completely unexpected find. I stopped here in 2012, and again in 2014. The amount of candy, for sale, is mind boggling. The museum is also worthy, of a visit.
Fudge, hard candy, taffy...you name it, they got it. Most of it is self service, so you decide the quantities and kinds. It is all good quality candy.
