I have been disappointed with wine tasting n that area. Celebrated Chadds Ford and Va La were disappointing. Another story with Auburn Road Vineyard. Not a fancy place, but a very friendly one. Music every Saturday, sitting outside next to the vineyard. Pizzas from the truck are just great (if you like thin crust, also called flatbed in some places), and wine is good! They get the most our of this not so famous area for wine.
Thanks so much for taking the time to write! We are so glad that you enjoyed your experience at our Enoteca and particularly the wine. Jules, our winemaker (and, coincidentally, my wife), is brilliant and does a terrific job. I will pass the complement on to her...she will be very pleased! I'm sorry that the cheese plate seemed insufficient - generally we get comments that it is too much food! I will work with our kitchen crew to make sure that we are more consistent. We are very proud of our crew of wine professionals and I am so glad- though not at all surprised - that Rick did a good job. He, like all of our folks, is not only very knowledgeable but also a truly genuine person. Thanks again for taking the time to write such a well thought out note. We appreciate all comments and do our best to use them to continue to improve the experience at our Enoteca. Please come by and see us again soon and when you do, please ask for me - I would very much like to thank you in person.ScottCo-owner, Auburn Road Vineyards
Nice little farmhouse set up. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We went for valentines day weekend and they served chocolates to compliment the wines. Nice menu for the kitchen. We ordered the garlic bread and it was warm and yummy!

Hi Taylor:I am truly sorry that you had such an awful experience at our place. It means everything to us that our guests have the best experience possible. To have us have failed as badly as we did in your case is inexcusable. We are working hard to improve on these shortcomings. I would very much like to discuss your experience with you and your boyfriend in person and also to apologize in person. I would very much appreciate it if you would contact me at scott@auburnroadvineyards.com or my cell at 215-625-4863 so that we might have the opportunity to make up in some small way for our performance of this weekend. And thanks for taking the time to write this review. I'm sure it was no fun to do but we will be better for you having taken the effort and we thank you for it. I look forward to hearing from you.ScottCo-owner, Auburn Road Vineyards
Their wines are nice. Took a tour of the place that was very informational. Just not a fan of having no sitting at the bar. Kind of awkward doing a tasting.
Maybe we hit the Auburn Road Vineyard on the wrong day yesterday but we did not find it inviting at all. We participated in the wine tasting, 5 of the 15 tastings were not available and the tasting was a whisper compared to other wineries we had visited that day. We were sorry we skipped another winery to go here. There were 8 of us and we still made a bad situation good by sharing two bottles of wine on the outdoor patio set just outside the vineyard.
The place was full of life and it was a pizza night on Saturday. Wine tastings $5 but you get the glasses. The wine selection is good - your whites, reds and sweet and fruity. Places to sit and relax inside and outdoors. The botega is surrounded by nice vineyards which enhance the atmosphere.
