This walk is a must when visiting Straddie, gorgeous views and you can see various marine life as well. Great that the walkway has been upgraded and they are continuing to do so with non slip surface and sturdy handrails. Excellent for prams and walkers. Beautiful blow hole as well. You never tire of the view!!!
A great walk to take for all levels of fitness/ age. It is not strenuous and you can go at your own pace. Its has breathtaking views of the pacific and of areas of the island. You are bound to see a pod of dolphins, sea turtles and is a hot spot for keen whale watchers when the season is right. Start your walk with a cafe breeky at one of the cafes or finish it with a coffee or even a swim at main beach. I have done this walk countless times on visiting the island and every time i see something new and it takes my breath away. Any day of the week, any time of the year. Its a MUST do when you visit straddie. Locals and tourists alike frequent here ( if the locals go daily you knows its something amazing)
Whether you just sit with a coffee and soak up the view, or actively seek out views of the varied marine life passing by, this is a must do when visiting Stradbroke. Certainly not strenuous and there are great eateries only minutes away. I could get used to this as a view every day !
It's beautiful with seats to sit and admire the view. It has boardwalks to walk on easily and safely, with some steps so if you have a pram, keep this in mind.
Awesome!Splendid!Serene!are the some words, that you'd like to express this beauty. A fully enjoyable walk in the lap of nature ... go for it.
We enjoy sitting on headland waiting for sealife to pass by we never get disappointed there is always something swimming by. The walkways were improved so good spot for your daily exercise
The view was awesome, we had to do one side, go back and go over to the other side the long way as the path was under repair.
There is so much to see on Straddie. The walk is not to be missed. Easy walking and so relaxing. As a local at Redland Bay, we quite often just catch the Flyer over for lunch and a lovely walk.Beautiful place right on our doorstep.
A beautiful walk, sometimes the colours in the waters take my breathe away!It is a wonderful place to spend some quiet moments and maybe see the dolphins or even whales in season.Turtles are about too. Highly recommend doing combining this walk with an aboriginal culture tour with Quandamooka man, Matthew Burns.
Breathtaking views of the coves and rocks and local wildlife, trees, shrubs and local habitat and such colourful blue and turquoise sea
