It's not far away from Pollonia and while searching for the archeological places we came across this wonderful beach. Which in fact is very neat and tidy
This beach is worth of visiting and taking some good photos, but you won't enjoy swimming in clear waters. North winds are carying garbage from the open sea into this slit and many times waters are muddy. However, access is not so difficult. There is a parking right after the beach and then you just have to be a little careful while climbing down the path.
This is a small beach between two huge rocks. The place is unique and amazing. It is a bit difficult to go down but is really worth a try!! You can swim and explore some caves as well. The fist time we went there the water was clean and nice. But when there are north winds it can be black and dirty. So it would be better to visit it when there are not north winds. Amazing place for fotos.
The beach is small and right next to the road. The day we were there it had a lot of rubbish washed in, perhaps because of the wind direction. Sarakiniko beach was much nicer for a similar experience.
caves which can only been seen from above the cliffs, but worth seeing & to take some photo's, literally only for 10 min visit.
Papafragas beach is a bit like sweet and sour, sweet because in isolation is quite an interesting little beach that looks more like a private swimming pool but sour because getting to it is not easy and there are other beaches and sights that in my opinion are a better use of time
Easy drive from Pollonia. Small beach with some privacy. There are several small chapels to visit nearby. There is ample parking. It's a small space so first come, first serve, but even it you just want to look and take a view pics it is ok.
A great beach to travel to if you have children or are going to be hungry while you are there. There are bars and restaurants available to the public, as well as rentals of lounges and umbrellas. Easy to find and plenty of parking along the streets. Relaxing in June but may be crowded in the peak months.
We saved this beach for the end of our trip and unfortunately it was such a windy day so we could not enjoy the swim, but we sure did enjoy the fantastic surroundings and views from here.
Nature has created something really perfect you dont see it every day . its a bit hard and dangerous to go down but if you try it really worths it
