Very scenic as if in a old fishing village - lovely and calm, I enjoyed sunrise here spectacular colors as well as boats riding
Shallow and crystal clear waters and good restaurants for lunch. There are also tree shadows available. :)
Milos has so many great beaches that nobody will tell you about this one. But for us who were staying in Pollonia it was a rewarding choice for swimming and relaxing within walking distance. The beach is sandy with shallow waters, trees for shadow and nice view to the village and Kimolos. Recommended especially for families, but also for those who want to relax on a beach with very easy access.
While the sand of Pollonia beach is nothing to rave about, the water is everything you would dream of. It is the nicest village beach in Milos, much better than the beaches of Adamas or Plaka (Klima). You could easily enjoy every day there, relaxing. It's also nice to eat at one of the surrounding restaurants with a great view over the water.
Nice village with lots of restaurants but quiet. The beach is small but calm water to swim in. There are better beaches around if you rent a car.
Bring your camera along and spend the day enjoying sea, sun and sand at Pollonia beach, away from the hustle and bustle of Adamas port. Lots of traditional Greek tavernas line the edge of the sea, for a delicious lunch or dinner and refreshments! Enjoy the view, plenty of colourful fishing boats floating in the sea around you. A great beach for families...lots of shady trees on the sand, and even a XXL swing on the sand for your enjoyment.
First it is not the most beautiful beach on Milos in terms of nature's scenery. But if you are looking for a less crowded beach that has trees for shade (no sun beds in Polonia) and want to have lunch or an early dinner this is the place. Very relaxing all sand beach. We had lunch at Ammos i highly recommend it.
This is the quintessential village/beach. There is a small harbor with real fishing boats, several beach front cafes and restaurants, wicker chairs and all. The water is shallow and calm, the light airy and colourful. Peace and quiet.......ahhh!
This fisherman town is so adorable! We went a couple hours before sundown and took a stroll on the boulevard and enjoyed a wine right near the beach. The sunset is absolutely gorgeous and all of the fisherman boats are set out on the water, making for beautiful photos!
Pollonia is a very nice place, quiet (at least in September) and friendly. The beach is a bit windy, but OK. And from there you can easily make a trip to nearby Kimolos (1-day visit or stay there for a few days).
