With high ceilings, stained glass and large organ this cathedral is not massive compared to those in Europe but well worth a visit. In the city centre.
Love this place, always clean, safe and open when I have passed by. Good feeling place and central. Whether you want some peace time, a rest or a church service, you could go far further for a lot worse.
A humble experience that will bring out the best in you. To see such a beautiful cathedral that is still used every day by everyone. A new view from every side of this building. The soldiers chapel a must see
This is a beautiful old style theatre, inside and out, perfect for the Ballet,or musical theatre.Parking close by is good,or ease of travel on public transport, refreshment before or interval, and restaurants on the doorstep for after the show
Just sopped for a few minutes to look inside.A wonderful old church, lovely stained glass windows (as you'd expect) with a huge set of pipe organs and trompets (which I'd never seen before). Would have liked to have heard them being played.Well worth a visit.
This place is interesting as far as churches go. Its great that Perth remains its architecture amidst of all the modern construction.
My family and I visited this cathedral for the first for a December Carol service including the choir - the Choir were awe-inspiring and the building itself is an inspirational and monumental architectural masterpiece - thoroughly loved our visit and it made our Christmas somewhat more special than normal - a must see inside and out.
This has been revamped and the architecture is a sight to behold. Can walk there from the city straight up Murray St from the Murray St mall.
This cathedral is a beautiful building.the service I attended was inspiring, and the choir outstanding.wellworth a visit
The beautiful, mellow, soft-red brick, the gorgeous stained glass windows, the simplicity of design, the air of holiness and quiet here are always balm to the soul. Great festivals - Easter and Christmas - are beautifully celebrated, with a strong sense of liturgy. The present Archbishop, Roger Herft, is a wonderful preacher, and a deeply good human being. He welcomes everyone who wants to be there.
