Amazing place, clean water light green, white sand, calm, you can surf, use stand up paddle, racquetball, and many other sports
Beautiful beach, clean sand, warm-ish water. It was a wonderful first beach experience for my 10 month old grandson. Great memories
This beach, even in high summer, still maintains it wildness. There is the North corner, very green and just with surfers (no infra-structure), the middle with the lagoon and some sophisticated restaurants and pubs and the South corner, more populated and less priced restaurants. The view of the beach is stoning and really worth to spend a day there.
Excellent option for surfers, kids or adults. Nice beach that for several years have been able to keep the roots atmosphere. Have nice places to stay walking distance from the beach and good restaurants around. It is very close to other nice beaches as well. Have to be luck with the weather because as it is in the south of the country usually have a cold wind in the air.....Have came back 3 times.....
Northern beach is the best place to go. Quiet and calm, you can feel like you are alone in the world. Just you and the sea
The blue sea, the wind, the nature all around, specially the Rosa Norte where the surfers were. There is a trekking to the Vermelha Beach that I didn't manage to finish but the view from the top is stunning.
fine white sand. lots of nice bars and restaurants and the highest concentrate :)io of hot girls i even seen in my life
The beach was very scenic and quiet being winter. We loved it. I recommend walking around the headlands at either end for the views and access to the other beaches. It was too rough for children to swim in and rather chilly even for an Englishman. Stick to the pool unless you like surfing which appeared to be excellent.
Walking distance to a beautiful sandy beach excellent for swimming, surfing, kids and adults. Refreshments, food and water sports equipment rentals. Friendly people and safe environment - all surrounded by trees and jungle trails.
We are a family of six and stayed at Praia do Rosa from December 28 to January 4. We were fortunate to have a house that was far from the town center. The town is PACKED during this time of year - mostly with people in their 20s. The town was good about cleaning up the trash in the morning as it was a total mess first thing in the morning. The roads around the town are in very poor shape so you have to take it slow. Would highly recommend going to this very special beach AFTER Carnaval or before Christmas as it was just too many people for us!
