The views were beautiful. The walk was easy as it is short but steep. It was very crowded, but everybody was friendly. There is a place at the road head where you can get fruit and drinks..
We enjoyed traveling and going arround's the Ghat's the highest Peek on western Ghat's .this will consume almost 1/2 of your journey day, so plan your trip accordingly. ensure to carry some snaks and drinks, dont have much shops on the way.. one you reach destination you will be able to see some local sellers
One of the must visit places if you are around Chikmagalur area.View from the top is amazing. I bet sunrise and sunset views from here would be just stunning.Road to the peak is generally very good - Awesome stretch until 2km point. Last 2km stretch is narrow, uneven and without barriers. This stretch is being re-laid as of March 1st so should be better soon.Ample parking available at the point where road ends. You might find some snacks and small hawkers at that point but better to carry some food and water of your own.
such an awesome place to be there. The blazing wind simply blows your mind and upon reaching the top of the Karnataka's highest peak, you see serene bells of temple.Worth visiting at least once.
Superb peak.....view from top of mulyangiri is awesome.....wemt with group of friends.... trekking experience was beautifull.....worth seeing againand again
The mountain top is covered with clouds and there is a pleasant wind blowing. The views are fantastic and for the the religious oriented, there's a nice temple 300 steps higher.
Brilliant for nature lovers. amazing scenic locality.Good for hiking also.beware of thieves!!!!. must visit place
No doubt a great place but be cautious if you are with older people /young kids as its not for them. Its difficult & tad dangerous to reach the top .Avoid driving your car & take a cab instead .
Beautiful views but dangerous drive. The Road is only a few feet wide with enough space for 2 cars to move side by side at best. Drive carefully and enjoy the view.
The drive is smooth except for the last stretch of around 1 KM which could be difficult if there are vehicles in the opposite direction. Also, there are no safety rails at the ends of the roads. After you reach the place, it is a steep climb up to the peak. The small temple atop the hill is simple and clean. The view on a clear day is superb and one can enjoy a few minutes to enoy the view. This place is supposed to be the highest peak in India between the Himalayas and Nilgiris and is worth a visit.
