Wat Sum Pow is located on the opposite side of the road from Wat Phan On.In front of the viharn is a pair of Burmese-style lions, or chinthe, a style which is much more common in Chiang Mai than in Bangkok.Wat Sum Pow is located on the north side of Ratchadamnoen Road, at the junction with Ratchaphakinai Road, west of Tha Phae Gate.
