Great lunch buffet for $6.95. Hugh variety, including oriental food, mexican food, comfort food, and probably the biggest desert buffet I have seen at a casino. Food was great, service was great, price was great. If you haven't been here, be sure to sign up for their Player's Club. You receive cash, as well as dining credit. We will return to this casino.
The casino is very pretty, has a Vegas feel to it. People are friendly. No free drinks, soda or tea offered. Slots are tight and the place is VERY smoky. Seriously, if you have asthma or bronchitis you will not be able to even walk through the building. The hotel is very nice and the buffet is excellent. There is also a nice steakhouse, burger grill, snack bar and sports bar in the casino as well. Between the casino and the hotel there are very nice open areas with fireplaces and seating. (again, very smoky) We win more at Buffalo Run Casino in Miami OK, but Downstream is gorgeous!
The casino is large and the setting is nice. If you are heading west on the Interstate make you get off before the Oklahoma border. They have lots of slot machines maybe 2000 give or take. A fun place for a break from the road.
We have always enjoyed going to the Downstream Casino. Great experience and wonderful staff. However, the poker/keno machines at the bar need major work. The majority of the screens are unreadable or make your eyes hurt when you try to read them and half the time the keys stick. Not a whole lot of fun when you can't find two machines together to enjoy.
Liked it all can't find one thing wrong....manny machines ..clean...workers helpful....plenty of room between machines..players club ...answered all questions ...very pleasant time
This was my third trip to this place, but the first time for an overnight. The casino is pretty typical; machines galore, smoky, no live poker, few table games. It is a relatively new place, and well-maintained. There are plenty of dining options. I did try the steakhouse, and while kind of pricey, it is very nice and the service is very good. There is the ever-present buffet, and a snack bar where you can get sandwiches and other fast food. They have 2 High-Limit slot rooms, and one High Limit table room. I noted that the video poker and slot machines have reduced pay scales compared to the CET and MGM properties i am familiar with. The rooms are very nice. I was assigned a junior suite, and it had a jacuzzi in the bedroom, huge bathroom with oversize shower, wet bar, Cuisinart coffeemaker, 2 flat-screen TVs, daily newspaper,, and a second half bath in the wet bar area. I can't say what the regular rooms look like, but I have a feeling they are quite nice. The public areas of the place are well done; lots of tile, plenty of rooms in the hallways, an open, airy feel. The employees were courteous and helpful. Nice place.
We were heading to Tulsa for a show along I-44. Our grandma 88 years old wanted to meet us there before heading into Tulsa. The casino was very clean and we'll kept. Grandma loved the machines and the smoke smell was very light. Still wish they would ban smoking. A lot of young people we know would show up more. It was a good time and I will be back
I don't like smoky casinos but I didn't even notice the smoke so they must have great ventilation. Everything was really nice and clean and we had a great time at Downstream!
This resort had a LOT to offer in some respects: The staff were super kind, efficient, friendly & informative. Pleasant people all around. The place is absolutely gorgeous, with artifacts tastefully displayed as art and in sculptures and display cases thruout the entire place. Beautiful tile works in rooms/pool area/and public spaces. Tops in cleanliness. The room was delightful and spacious, with not one complaint on my part.Of course, this is a casino, but all my complaints (for which I've only removed one of the "points" on overall rating) is the awful stench of smoke that lingered on my clothes, skin, and person for days (even after showering). Also, the noise of clanging and sirens (winning players) made my ears ring throughout the next day and on the way home.Of course, it's to be expected that a casino would "allow" smoking, but truly I wish that there could be a separate room for us non-smokers. And, next time I go I will take my around-the-ear headphones to block out the nauseating and continuous loud sounds. When a band played our first evening, we had to leave!Had a couple of drinks at the sports bar and some snacks....a delicious mini-meal and generous drinks at very affordable price. The pool/jacuzzi were just perfect. The room was, as I already said, delightful (not too many TV stations available, though). The coffee bar was nice and delicious snacks early a.m.The facilities were spectacular, the staff lovely, but we, unfortunately, will probably never go back because of all the assault on our nasal systems and ear drums. Too bad!
As casinos go it was average. The restrooms were very clean. But as usual smoking for me is an issue, I do not smoke and the casinos seem to always filled with a unbearable amount of smoke. I don't usually gamble but my husband on the other hand does. We ate at the breakfast buffet and it was $8.95 plus tax and actually had ok food. The waiters was very attentive. I noticed that the average age was over 55 in the casino, maybe because we went on a Wednesday afternoon.
