We are so pleased your enjoyed our regional produce platter. We love our beautiful environment and get great pleasure from sharing it with others including our canine guests. The late harvest biancone is a very rate planting and it's great to hear you enjoyed it. We look forward to welcoming you back to lake Moodemere again soon.
Thank you for your review. I'm sorry you did not find a wine you liked. Our select range of wines is made exclusively from fruit from our own vineyard and our releases change according to vintages. We hope to see you again when we can offer you some new releases that might suit your palate better.
What a great compliment you have paid us in your review. Back twice in the same weekend! I hope we have the opportunity to see you at lake Moodemere again soon.
We are so pleased to hear you enjoyed our platter showcasing some of our wonderful regional produce. We love spending our days in such a beautiful environment and it's even better to be able to share it with our guests. Of course it's really all about the wine so we are most pleased to hear you enjoyed the Riesling.
Lovely locationGreat winesFriendly staffLovely spot to enjoy a great cheese platter with some wonderful wines.
We had a great experience at Lake Moodemere Vineyard. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and our lunch was very nice. Sitting outside under a big tree, enjoying views of the lake, was a perfect way to spend our afternoon.
Thank you for your complementary review. The luncheon platters are a new thing and quickly becoming very popular. We love sharing our beautiful cellar door particulary when it's so well appreciated! I hope we see you back again soon.
Thanks for your review. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your visit. We love welcoming visitors and their pooches. I hope we see you back soon.
Thank you for your thoughtful review. We are so pleased you enjoyed our platters, but most of all we love it when our environment is appreciated. The orchard is over 100 years old. Every morning when I enter the garden I look through the branches of the citrus trees to the lake and feel at peace. It's a great way to start the day! We look forward to welcoming you back when you return for another week at Mulwala Lake Edge.
We were staying in Rutherglen and day one was time to break out the bikes and head out to visit the first of several wineries during our stay. We had no particular one in mind just enjoying the almost flat roads (tar and gravel) when we spotted one on the map by the side of a lake and so Lake Moodemere Winery was our first lunch stop.We had a tasting with Michael whilst Belinda sorted out our lunch order. We selected their regional produce platter and she kindly put the meat options onto a separate plate. Food selected, next was to decide which wine and selected their wooded Chardonnay. Time then to move to a table under a huge tree overlooking the Lake … food and wine arrived … perfect!!The excellent lunch was completed with Grapefruit brulee (grapefruit picked from the tree and grilled with brown sugar) with a glass of Late Harvest Biancone and pot of coffee. After such a perfect lunch we returned to our bikes to find that one had a completely flat tyre … thankfully Michael able to assist with his compressor and this enabled us to make it back to the caravan park. Into town the next day to have the inner tube replaced. Apparently punctures are a fact of life as a number of wineries we visited afterwards offered ‘tyre repairs’ of one kind or another. Our first lunch in this area and highly recommended .. allow time to sit back and enjoy the location. If you are feeling more energetic, then you can always try their “Great Lake Moodemere Hole in One and a chance to win $1000 worth of wine!!
