This church refers to the center point of Croatia - not geographically but traditionally. Some important events of Croatian history took place in front of this church while its interesting roof refers to the inevitable postcards taken in Zagreb. If you forget to take photo with this roof in backgrount it would be considered as you did not come to Zagreb at all.
The exterior of this building has a magnificent colored roof and is one of the highlights of the old city. We have seen many churches and apart from the exterior it is not as magnificent as many others through out Europe. Worth including on any wander through the old town
A movie was being filmed in the square outside the church and we were not able to go inside when we were there, but the roof is a beautiful site to see and a great place to take photos. We just loved wandering around that area in Zagreb.
Probably the most important landmark of Zagreb. The unique roof with Croatian logo and flag really good for your background photo. Too bad they don't run a mass there anymore, can't see the interior.
very nice church, with interesting roof and it's quite nice atraction, if you're planning to visit Zagreb, you should go there and visit for sure. it's in the center, so it's accesible.
This is the most famous church in Zagreb, especially its beautiful roof on which depicts the entire history of the Croatian. Unfortunately the church can not be entered as a serious failure
We do not enter religious sites, but this church is in an excellent location in the upper town and is very pretty. The roof is pretty - although we were surprised it is not lit up at night. The xmas tree in front is pretty and a good photo opp. Would recommend and return.
The roof was beautiful, you should visit if you love photography and traditional architecture. One of the "musts" in Zagreb.
The square was a market in ancient days and now you can see around it all the governmental beautiful buildings and institutions .
Amazing place. The church is very nice, also very nationalistic. I liked it. I recommend seeing it both during the day and at night.
