The Jardin Public de Saint Omer is a beautiful park. It is so well kept and the floral display was wonderful. It is a very nice park to enjoy a picnic. Would recommend a visit.
A beautiful park, a hidden gem in St Omer. Not great for prams and wheelchairs as paths are gravel . Very well maintained and lots of photo opportunities.
This is a lovely park with lots peacocks, ducks etc. It's very peaceful - a proper little oasis. It's near to the town centre but large enough to feel completely out ot it (although the town is particularly nice!
We came, we saw, we left! More like a park than a garden Did not see any flower displays and despite the french having love of flowers these were sadly missing. Not suitable for wheelchairs and people with impaired walking - like hip and knee problems
Cover around 40 hectares (no idea how many acres that is) If you like Gardens these are for you! About 5/10 mins from town centre walking towards the Railway (we followed route signs to A26
Took our three young children, had a picnic and wandered around, trying out the outdoor exercise equipment, the play area and walked in the lovely gardens. Amazing deer was to be seen - it was a perfect base before we set off to look at the nearby town and cathedral.
A great park in the centre of town, with play areas, formal gardens, exercise park and animals. Very popular with the locals.
Just love this park.....huge spaces and those wonderful trees which have been given to the park over the years from all over the globe. Most of the plaques are still in place which explain where they come from. The ponds could perhaps have a little more care but overall it is a lovely city oasis.
Take a slow walk through the park with its magnificent trees, multicoloured flowers and manicured lawns.Sit a while and watch the world pass by.
Beautiful gardens with gorgeous very tall trees and a 'lower' garden. At the top end of town beyond the main square.Well worth a visit.
