I believe the place is worth seeing but do not set your hopes too high as it is not very large or extremely rich in exhibits. Nevertheless, I found it quite impressive each of the 5 or 6 times I was there. The dictator is believed to have never visited the bunker but it was ready for him at any time and would have most likely been a good, strong shelter for him. According to the tour guides, the office built for Stalin there is a copy of the one he had in the Kremlin in Moscow, with imitations of windows and doors in the right places, the same kind of furniture, etc. You will hear of how deep the bunker is, how thick the walls are, how fast and with what secrecy it was built, and more. I believe it will be interesting for you.
Great example of Stalins time architecture. 36 meters depth under the square. Big complex and a nice place to take photos especially inside! Very interesting experience! Strongly recommend to visit. Groups are formed several times a week.
This is really unique place and I have never seen anything like it. I has been there with the guided tour several years ago, and still under the impression - 37 meters under the ground manmade digged out by nights in a total secrecy for 9 month. However tour should be booked in advance as sometimes it is not open even in mentioned working hours: from Monday to Friday 11.00-15.00
I was there once while studing at school. I think it's a must see place due to our history. It's really interesting how everything needed for life can be located so deep and far from the ground surface.
Our small group visited the bunker. The guide spoke in Russian and our tour leader translated. The guide was very patient with us. A really interesting place to visit. Able to sit in Stalins chair and have a close look in the war room. A valuable piece of ww2 history.
Great history. Excellent tour in Russian. Increidibly atmospheric wartime relic
